Best Western Sevierville/Kodak Inn - Hotel in Kodak - 3385 Winfield Dunn Pkwy, USA

We usually stay in Hiltons and Marriott managed hotels and have not been to a Best Western in over twenty years. We were driving back home from vacation and needed a place to rest for the night and so had no reservations or a place picked out. This hotel was near the highway and so decided to give it a try. It was clean and the front office staff was very friendly. The room’s beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. It is not a fancy breakfast but it was good for a free meal. The day we were there they had eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, instant oatmeal, cereal and toast. So I was pleasantly surprised and will not hesitate to stay at a Best Western in the future.

The rooms & and hotel look very nice at first glance but the carpets are stained & smell faintly of animal urine. The sheets were discolored and had pen marks all over them. The parking lot is WAY too tight- we saw 2 separate accidents in one night. The amenities were very nice- the pool and the gym were very clean and the breakfast was full of delicious options. The staff were all incredibly friendly, kind, helpful, and hospitable. Overall, a decent hotel experience but not worth nearly $200 a night.

My only complaint is the breakfast was horrible! Customer service was great ( from the guy at night ) very friendly Room was clean and smelt good. Bed was just ok. I would stay again if I needed a quick place to stay the night, it’s not a 5 star, but it’s not a 2 star either!

First room had no a/c, Kevin the hotel guy quickly gave us another room, great job! 1st floor was a bit ripe? Carpet smell? But other floors very clean, rooms very clean and big. For $100 it’s well worth it. Free breakfast what else could ya ask for. I’d go there again!

Just checked out from our stay this morning and I would not come back to stay here. I also wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon looking at pictures and reading most of the reviews, we chose this hotel because our “regular” hotels were booked for the 4th and we decided to give it a try. The elevator and when you step off of the elevator were very hot. Every single pillow on the king bed was mismatched and very small and hard. The bed was also very uncomfortable. All towels were extremely old. The carpet was so dirty that my 8 month son’s knees, toes, and hands were black. There were no linens and no pillows for the fold out sofa (luckily we brought our own blankets and pillows for our children). Very disappointed to say the least. Waste of money and I do not recommend at all! Don’t be fooled by pictures.

I have never had this experience at a hotel before. First, all over the website shows that check in time is 3:00pm. When we arrived the front desk attendant told me it was 4:00pm and when I told him it was on the website as 3:00 he very quickly told me that was not correct it was 4:00pm. When we finally got in our room it was even on the paperwork in the room stating it was actually 3:00pm. Second, when we came back to check in after 4:00pm (like 4:40pm) there was NO front desk attendant at all. Another family was standing there waiting ahead of me. After several minutes they told me they had been there for a while already and no one was there when they arrived either. I called the front desk number and the phone on the desk in front of us was ringing but obviously no one picked up. There was a lady sitting on the couch in the lobby and overheard me on the phone with my husband telling him what was going on and she turned around and said "he is coming", meaning the front desk attendant. She then got on her phone and called someone. After several more minutes had passed I was so upset I went back out to the car and finally a car came rushing into the parking lot and a person jumped out and ran in. It was the front desk attendant. Why had he left the hotel completely unattended, especially at "check in time". Last, when we checked out the attendant there that morning was very rude and not friendly at all. I am not sure where they got their employees from at this location but the ones I encountered are definitely not what I am used to seeing in the hospitality industry. Don't think I will ever stay here again. I will never stay at this hotel again.

This was a great place to stay. The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff were great. We loved the indoor pool. The walls are thin and kids were running across the room above us all night. We are night owls, so it didn't bother us that much. I could see it bothering most people though.

Rooms were very clean! The free breakfast was great! More options than I thought and pretty good too. Staff was helpful and allowed us to check in a bit early so my mom could relax after our 8 hr drive. Good location!!
