Best Western Salbasgeon Inn & Suites Of Reedsport - Hotel in Reedsport - 1400 US-101, USA

No complaints, and they have Pet-friendly rooms. I recommend it. I have stayed many times at the Best Western in Reedsport. I also love the room with the sauna and couch. It's very comfortable; it's nice to relax in the tub after a long workday.

The staff was friendly and effective. The breakfast was great and really well setup. The pool and jacuzzi was clean and warm. The rooms were neat. Overall a great experience. would definitely recommend.

My family went to breakfast and their dining room, and my son who is ADHD chose to sit by the Christmas tree in the lobby and was playing with their origami that was sitting on a table, When the front desk lady walked up to him, taking the paper out of his hand, and in a very not nice way told him to stop tearing the paper apart to leave them alone!!!!! First of all, don’t talk to my child like that. Or anybody’s child like that. Be respectful go to the parents and if I teach my kids, if they please and thank you, lady, you can say it too. Literally the worst customer service ever! I was gonna say a second night and decided not to. I also asked for clean towels, and the lady gave me a weird look. I explained that we had came in at four in the morning and use the three that were already in the room. there are four of us and we need to clean towels. She literally looked at me and said “Weird”. Why in the world would a customer service person say something like that to somebody staying at their freaking hotel. Not to mention I chose this hotel because of their star review so if you’re a passive person and you don’t care how people treat you or talk to you or your children go ahead and stay here otherwise go someplace else maybe a little bit more in town type of hotel I bet they have better customer service and or thankful that you are here, best western is literally like a Starbucks….

We have been stay here for several years and this time exceptional. The assistant manager, Trinity, is an absolute Jewel of a person. She is a soft-spoken young lady with a very kind and pleasing personality. She displays Class and professionalism and is a delight to work with. Kudos to the owners for having such a fine person in charge. She is a great representative of the brand.

Location is convenient as the surrounding area is slim-pickings when it comes to quick pass through lodging. Upon arrival our door was left wide open, along with several other rooms. It was hard to understand why. Then, we discovered we had no pillow cases. It became clear that one of their washers had broken earlier and they were behind on laundry. No biggie. What was a big deal was the next morning for breakfast. Whomever prepared the eggs served guests what looked like yellow porridge. Nothing even resembling a cooked scrambled egg. Food was gross and barely enough other option besides the egg soup (literally). The restroom in the front lobby had ZERO toilet paper or paper towels. With all of the guests coming and going near the food area, it was extremely unsanitary. I casually & politely let the front desk know and the young man up front complained that he had one day off and acted disgusted that I even brought it to his attention. Vending machine had over one month expired Starbuck drink that cost us almost $4. Again, front desk could care less. Mattress was completely sunk in the middle. The house keeping staff knocking on doors had no uniforms on. Come to think of it, several staff were in street clothes. It was very hard to tell who was staff and who wasn't during our 3 night stay. Overall, for a $700 bill for 3 nights, this place barely felt like a value. Again, slim pickings in the area so we had no choice. Pick this place carefully! The staff are immature and need a little help with the concept of being in the hospitality business. Plan on eating at McDonald's across the street!

The front desk gentleman tried hard to accommodate us on checkin (we needed an accessible room for my husband) He gave us the closest thing they had. However, the light between the two beds wasn’t working. I reported it three times and no one came to look at during our stay. I also requested to have the room serviced daily, that didn’t happen either. ||The beds were ok. We were able to sleep on them. The bathroom fan sounded like it was about to take off, very loud. And they turn off the refrigerator between guests. (Would have been nice to know that before my cheese purchases were ruined, as it was still cold when I put them in on arrival) ||Breakfast was the bare minimum for “breakfast included”. No microwave accessible for the oatmeal packets, liquid eggs, but everyone is doing that these days. (How difficult is it to crack and scramble a few eggs?) waffle maker (didn’t use) coffee and juice. ||Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We like the view of the creek and full moon. Also the beautiful sunrise. The staff are friendly and we appreciate having coffee early in the morning. There are lots of breakfast choices. The waffles are delicious.

excellent stay at this hotel. hotel staff was young but efficient, attentive, and helpful. breakfast area clean, good choice of items, and staff kept items refreshed. good location if you are traveling the 101, and the rate was reasonable
