Best Western Rose Garden Inn - Hotel in Watsonville - 740 Freedom Blvd, USA

My bed is comfy. The room is nice and clean and spacious. I appreciate room service asking if I need anything. The pool is clean. I Love the breakfast, a very nice choice. I love that there's a fridge and microwave. Overall, it's a super nice spot and only 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and is super close to my daughter.

Very clean! The rooms were immaculate. The beds were comfortable including the pullout sofa bed that was already pre-made with the sheets. ||Communication before and during the stay was efficient, and details were clearly laid out. The breakfast area was nice and all the offered amenities (pool, fitness center) were working and easily accessible. Will be back, thank you!

So the room was beautiful. The check-in process was smooth, and the breakfast was better than just continental. A few things I would say is that the parking situation was a bit subpar, when we arrived at 9 there was no parking left in the main lot and we had to drive around the corner to a different lot and had to carry our stuff a little further. The breakfast was all microwaveable but better than just pastries cereal and fruit and warm. It is worth noting that this location did not have waffles or pancakes as most Best Westerns do.

This is a nice location, and a nice facility. There is a choice of food options nearby. You will feel as if you are in the neighborhood rather than at a hotel. The location is only 30 to 40 minutes from all the Monterey Bay activities making it a good home base when in the area.

Clean room, great staff. Lots of breakfast options. We visited Capitola and Santa Cruz. About 20-30 min drive from both places. Worth the drive. Hotel was clean and Staff was nice and friendly. Free parking is a plus as well. Will definitely be back

Staff was friendly. Grounds were well groomed, room was clean, breakfast had lots of options. Coffee machine in the lobby available all day. Pool and spa are small and sparkling clean. Cookies at check in were a pleasant surprise. Bring lotion, none provided but that was ok with us.

The room was OK. The shower took a long time before the water warmed up enough to take a shower. More than what is normal for a hotel. The room was light in towels but because I was solo this trip it was enough for one but would not have been for two people. The bed was comfortable. Noise was a major issue from road noise and people staying at the BW. Two doors down from my room a family had their door open and were frying eggs on a hot plate in the door way with family members running around. I did not feel safe at this hotel and was grateful my car was still in the parking lot the next morning. I will never stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it.

Room was clean but very humid. There was condensation in the windows, the bathroom fan was not helping. The ac did not have a dry function. Very unpleasant. Breakfast was very good. Don’t expect to find any fancy restaurants around, there is only fast food and many Mexican restaurants. We did stumble upon the most delicious clam chowder at The Rustic Table just around the corner.
