Best Western Pony Soldier Inn & Suites - Hotel in Flagstaff - 3030 E Rte 66, USA

This was one location where I was sad to only be able to spend one night there. The entire experience was amazing. The lady at the front desk was super helpful in getting us checked in and provided us with a map of the inn, including highlighting areas of interest and where to park if we wanted to view our car from our room. The rooms were especially nice, with comfortable beds and amenities available. The breakfast room was located on the side along with the indoor pool and the breakfast there was very delicious. I would definitely stay in here whenever I need an overnight stay in Flagstaff.

Very disappointed with this BW. Outside of the hotel was fairly nice, but the room literally made us laugh. Granted, we did have a pet- friendly room, but that really shouldn’t have mattered. The room wasn’t much bigger than the ‘King’ sized bed itself & the bed actually looked and felt more like a ‘double’ and we could barely get into the bathroom & shut the door! Breakfast also really lacked variety and ‘healthy’ choices. Everything was processed from fake cheese omelets, biscuits & gravy, packaged oatmeal and even the fruit didn’t taste fresh. Heart issues prevents my husband from eating most of this. On a positive note, the staff was friendly & helpful and the room was clean. |We are loyalty members and travel quite a bit and the last several BW’s we’ve stayed at have been quite disappointing. Seems the bar for providing updated facilities and quality offerings is set really low across the chain, begging us to reconsider our hotel choices moving forward. There are just too many other options that offer more for same or similar price.

How many places offer 2 full bathrooms in a King suite? Who has tasty, well stocked, great choices at breakfast? Who has a large and very clean breakfast area? Who has ice water, tea and coffee in the lobby 24/7? Comfortable beds? Plenty of parking? I'll tell you who..... Best Western Pony Soldier Inn!!! ||What did I forget?? Fair prices for the area (lots of choices). Quiet. Pool. Nearby restaurants and groceries. Even if you are a light sleeper, the trains may be annoying, but nothing like being next to a truck stop or drive thru. They really were not that loud going by. Great place to stay......

Our room had a very perfume smell. I guess that's better than some other places we've been. Room is small and set up strangely. Air conditioner didn't do much to cool the room. Overall it worked for a place to sleep. Breakfast is a no go right now. We were told that they are renovating the kitchen right now, not sure how long that will last. We've had decent breakfast here in the past but this is not worth anything IMHO. On the bright side, Randy,who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Randy. Since part of the value is the included breakfast you may want to call and ask about the status of breakfast or look elsewhere.

Great place to stay. Randy the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful with my check in. I was passing through on business and I had a truck and trailer that I was needing plenty of parking for and they accommodate me a spot to park. Thanks to the gentleman who helped me with this. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable also. Free breakfast in the morning outdoor pool and a pet friendly area.

Excellent location, great service all across the board- front desk and breakfast person. Good continental breakfast with varieties- with fruits! Clean common areas and coffee and water always available. Indoor poor and jacuzzi in adjacent building. This is good place for a one night stay before or after a visit to Grand Canyon south rim.

The rooms are very small and outdated. Nothing felt clean but I think it's because it's old. The beds were pretty comfortable. Also, if you're going to offer a pet friendly room, pet owners would appreciate it if the pets couldn't get behind the bed. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed at BW Pony Soldier after a long day on the road. I booked a king suite while on the way and was pleased by friendly staff at the check in desk, especially Randy. While this property has the largest breakfast room I have ever seen, the food offerings were not up to par. I would stay here again, hoping for a better breakfast experience.
