Best Western Pocatello Inn - Hotel in Pocatello - 1415 Bench Rd, USA

I travel a lot for work so I stay in hotels often for long durations. This hotel is in a decent location with restaurants nearby. The room was decent for the price. There is minimal parking. The parking lot was snow-covered and nobody salted the walkways for the 5 days I was there. I went to the front desk to ask for salt so I could throw some down but they didn't have access to it. The main issue I had was the rate for the room. When I arrived Monday night, I negotiated what I thought was the nightly rate for the duration of my stay. I found out upon checking out that the nightly rate fluctuates. The front desk never mentioned to me that my rate will go up every night. I guess when you sign for the room, they have a section that states your rate is not guaranteed. This has been the only hotel I've been to that has done this. My room rate went from $92 before taxes to $111 after the first night. They will not refund you.

When you pull up to a property for the first time, even a "pet friendly" property all kinds of thoughts go through your head, particularly if you travel with a fairly large dog... in this case a female GSD. Our worries were groundless. Check in was effortless, getting to the room was easy, the room was clean, the bed, bedding and pillows were excellent.||Breakfast at 6:AM is really appreciated since we had a long way to go that day. The meal was hot and tasty. There was a continental breakfast buffet available which we took advantage of, sneaking out a couple apples and bagel for a mid morning, on the road snack.||In short, yes I would stay there again and yes I would and have told my friends and a few other travelers that I have encountered that they should seriously look at staying at his Best Western!

This was one of the best stays I've ever had, especially for the price. Good food and drink at the in house lounge. Breakfast was good ( bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage) and staff was helpful. The room and the whole hotel was clean and comfortable. Thank you Best Western.

my stay at the best Western there in Pocatello was top-notch. The hot tub and the pool were very clean and inviting. The staff working the front desk went above and beyond the job to take care of my family members needs.

We stopped here on our second leg of a multi-state road trip. We found the hotel very comfortable. The room was large enough we could spread out. The bathroom was a little worn but it was clean. The pool was warm. It was a quiet area and we were able to rest well before the next leg of our trip. We also found all of the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Location is good, front desk staff were great, freindly! Room was fine but the bathroom was tight and a little beaten up. Toilet roll was so low and close to the toilet that 'male' splashing is totally a thing to worry about, also the holder was loose...sink area outside the bathroom was TEENY, you couldn't put your makeup bag on it...the shelf was hanging off the wall. Blow dryer cord was 2ft long, really difficult to use. Bed, pillows, towels were very nice. Coffee bar was not well stocked, just coffee with a pack of sugar and whitener...so not a hellish visit, but wouldn't go back...even with the good hot continental breakfast! Stayed at a Hampton the next night and for 25$ more, we have a large (nearly twice the size) beautiful room with a balcony. Its the little things that can ruin your experience...

I checked in for a night with my wife, while on our way home. I could tell the place needed updating. |Checking in was smooth and the clerk was nice. |When we went in the room, there was an old musty smell. The repainted bathtub was wearing off on the bottom of the tub. There was some long black hair on the floor of the bathroom. |At this point, my wife didn’t feel good about the room. We decided to go elsewhere and found a nice newer clean hotel for the night.

Hotel needs alot of maintenance done. Rooms small for the price. Allows pets but no pet area. No extras provided without calling house keeping for towels coffee,cups etc. Breakfast was great however having to try to open door with handle instead of just pushing was difficult. Push out door was locked.
