Best Western Plus Zion West Hotel - Hotel in La Verkin - 44 W 500 N, USA

Everywhere is very clean and the breakfast is decent. Given the cheaper rate compare to other hotels 10-20 minutes closer to the park, we have 2 rooms internally connected and that makes all the difference(family of 5). Rooms are not very large but are equipped with microwave and mini fridge. I would not mind to stay longer next time and highly recommend this hotel.

We were welcomed here with smiles and a slick check-in. We found huge, clean rooms, crisp, comfy beds and it was quiet, being set well away from the road (apart from the air con and ice machine along the hall). We had a lovely view across to the mountains and could watch the weather moving in. Breakfast was hot or cold and really good. Our only niggle was the breakfast room was busy and very hot, but not a big problem. It shuts promptly at 9. The pool was icy cold but the hot tub was great. It was a perfect location for Zion. It's in a very small town with really only 2 nearby places to eat. We visited El Rancho, which is an authentic, family run Mexican and the food was cheap and truly delicious, not a bit like the chains we were used to. We also used the Stagecoach Inn up the road, which was popular (best to book in advance as we had to wait 45 minutes). There was a lovely atmosphere here and the food was excellent, with huge portions.

Our most incredibly perfect hotel stay ever! Room 317 was huge, clean, quiet, and had the cutest fridge; I wanted to take it home but it wouldn’t fit in my suitcase. Hot tub was nice and hot, great WiFi, hot breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

Mixed experiences... Stayed there two times. Everything perfect on the first stay, great breakfast, nice pool an jets hot-tub - excelent for an evening dip, open in the winter as well. Excellent value for money. 20 min drive to Zion national park - both entrances. On the second stay the breakfast was miserable... both coffee machines broken, out of almost everything... Hardly found what to eat... Something went terribly wrong there...

Very clean hotel. The bed is one the most comfortable I have been in and appreciate the choice of pillows. Breakfast was good - we are hikers so appreciated the option of packing a breakfast to go since we left at 6:15am. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and gave us fabulous "local" advice. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are connected, so, if you are not sharing with other people then it can get a but noisy. The manager and the front desk people were nice enough to ensure that it was under check soon the internet were a bit off. The breakfast had lot many options but they ran out of food and it took time for replenishing the items. Other than that service and quality was great.

We were greeted with a goodie bag for being best western members. That was nice because it included a bottle of water and some snacks. We were on the second floor of the hotel. |The room: big, spacious. We had two queen beds as requested. The beds were comfortable. the room was clean. The room had a Keurig, fridge, and microwave. |The restroom: the shower worked well. The water pressure was good. They always had hot water. The toiletries included shampoo, conditioner, soap. The towels were soft. |The breakfast: continental breakfast to include hot or cold items. They have a menu of their daily breakfast items. hot items include scrambled eggs, a protein, like sausage or bacon, biscuits, waffles, and packets of oatmeal. Cold items, included hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal. They did have bananas and apples as fresh fruit. I like that they had the option of a large waffle or two mini waffles. Sometimes you can’t finish that large waffle. |Extras: the hotel did have laundry facilities and a gym. The gym was small, but it had everything you would need for a good work out. If you need to fill up your water bottle, the gym has a water cooler and the breakfast area has two coolers||parking: free and plentiful. We were getting back to the hotel after 8 PM every day and we always found parking. The area felt safe. ||Cons: the walls were extremely thin. Every morning I was woken up by whoever was on the third floor above us. It is either a room for a guest or maybe a workers area because someone would walk back-and-forth starting at five in the morning. I could also hear my neighbor coughing.||For those going to Zion national Park, it is about a 20 to 30 minute drive there, but it doesn’t seem like it is because it is a nice drive. Don’t count on there being a lot of food nearby. There is minimal restaurants open when you get back from the park.

Was going to Zion NP and stayed here for 2 nights. It was about 30 minutes to the park. The bed & pillows were really comfortable which was great after all day hiking. The room & bathroom was spacious. Enjoyed the citrus soap , lotion, shampoo, & conditioner. Had little make up removing kit & a sewing / mending kit which was a nice touch. Had a variety of breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal , pastries, fruit, pancakes etc) with lots of seating. Wasn’t a fan of the color of the walls/ browns but that wasn’t a big deal. They do have a laundry room just make sure to get quarters from the store. There is a grocery store as well as restaurants & gas station close by.
