Best Western Plus Tallahassee North Hotel - Hotel in Tallahassee - 2727 Graves Rd, USA

In town one night for family needs and found this hotel on TA, liked the positive reviews and location. Rate was reasonable for a weekend night and it's lovely, clean accomodations - from the lobby and on. || Stephanie at the front desk was very nice and helpful, a housekeeper got us extra pillows when requested. Breakfast was just fine and the coffee machine a nice surprise. A little traffic noise and halls (slamming doors) Would def stay again.

I hade a good stay with my Family . The check in was quick and easy and the gentleman that was working over night was really night and friendly. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. When checking out the I did not feel like house keeper was rushing to start cleaning the room. They were really happy and smiley. I would bring my family back

Very very clean. Wonderful clean smell when you enter. No musty smells. Africa at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older but well maintained and cared for place to stay. Hot breakfast included. Price is affordable. ||The location is great coming into the city. A great seafood restaurant ‘wahoo seafood Grill’ just a few min walk from the hotel. ||There was something needed to be taken care of and they immediately took care of it. |Laundry facilities on the premise also.

We booked a night here as we were passing thru the area. Our room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and everything worked (tv, remote, hair dryer, lights, thermostat). We have had experiences in the last year or so at other hotels when an item above did not work. There were plenty of bathroom towels and they were decent quality vs paper thin. The room did not have an odor. Again, numerous hotels in FL w the constant humidity have a funky odor. The common areas were clean and the employees were friendly. The best part was our included breakfast. A menu was posted for the week. This am they had scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, as well as the typical yogurt, cereal, oatmeal etc. There was an attendant present, and she was “present”. She kept all items tidy, the food was covered and obviously the attendant took her job seriously. Sounds silly maybe, but it was a delicious start to our day and it was appetizing, clean and appreciated. |We would stay here again if passing though.

You can hear every noise whether from the hallway, the adjoining room, or outside. It's crazy how bad the soundproofing is here. You could hear every car on the road outside. It was really difficult to sleep even with earplugs because every noise came through. My attached picture is the interior door to the hallway. All that light coming through highlights how bad the door seal is. The staff were fine, a little cold, but they weren't rude. The breakfast was edible, wouldn't give it much more than that. All the facilities and room were well maintained and clean.

Stopped here on our way to our main vacation destination. The front desk staff were super sweet, nice, and helpful. We grabbed breakfast in the morning and it was warm and delicious.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The cleanliness alone is incredible. It looks like it’s new and fresh. Breakfast was great as well and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the maintenance people were all smiling and seemed happy to see us. Can not say enough about the experience.

The hotel itself is OK, location is good and looks new inside. However front desk gave my family a room facing the major road instead of the back (the hotel was mostly empty, stayed on a Monday). Very noisy, sirens of police/ambulance, 18 wheelers. Could sleep from 11 pm to 5 am barely. Also, breakfast lady very rude and unhappy, first time I see the tip jar empty completely. Stared down at me, eating while attending the breakfast room, chatting with maintenance instead of attending clients. We were down at breakfast at 7:30 and mini fridge had all items gone, she did not refill it despite clients coming down one after another. Clients staring at empty fridge... Staff in general seemed not to be trained properly, no eye contact, no smile, no thank you for your visit... only check in was pleasant, will not stay again. First time as customer of this chain in 10+ years that made me wonder why I stayed at this chain.
