Best Western Plus South Bay Hotel - Hotel in Lawndale - 15000 Hawthorne Blvd, USA

This is our second visit to this particular Best Western and we were not disappointed. Cesar checked us in and he was amazing! He was friendly and very helpful and treated us very well! Our room was very clean and housekeeping was very nice. The pool was well-maintained and refreshing! The breakfast had a nice variety and there were always two employees there to refill items and make sure you had everything you needed. This is why we are Best Western members; we know we can count on a wonderful stay!

I would rate my overall stay a 2 star only because I feel like the rooms were clean and tidy but the walls were super thin. I could hear everything from the room next to me. If you have kids I would not recommend booking a room unless you don’t mind them hearing what your next door neighbors are doing every second of the day!Their service was really good everyone was nice. The workers that were working in the breakfast bar were very tidy and the food was good for an all you can eat breakfast bar. The location is kinda ok but it’s on the ghetto side of town but I didn’t expect anything fancy for how reasonable the price was!

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western South Bay in July 2024. It’s not anything fancy, but it seemed to be a better value than other hotels nearby. It would be good if they could update the property as it the halls and rooms are rather dark. I give high marks to the staff as the ones we met were all very friendly. Our tv actually went out and a very nice employee showed up in minutes to replace it. The breakfast options were pretty basic- cereal, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles (make your own), eggs, and sausage. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

We had an awesome stay at this Best Western Plus hotel in Lawndale! My childhood friend and I booked a room with two Queen beds and it was perfect for what we wanted.||Our room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. The AC worked well and having both a fridge and microwave was wonderful.||The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Having access to free parking and a great selection of things for a complimentary breakfast (including bagels/toast, cream cheese, jams, peanut butter, juices, yogurt, eggs, fruit, cereals, waffles, etc.) was amazing and saved us a great deal of money.||The staff throughout the hotel were lovely…especially the gentleman (named Hassan) at the front desk who met all of my requests when I phoned a few days before arrival (eg. Quiet room, location towards front of hotel, pool towels, etc). ||You have to request daily housekeeping and they will make a note of it for the time you want to have your room cleaned daily.||There is even a pool and hot tub for those who wish to use it, with dedicated pool towels.||The hotel is situated well if you have a car rental…eg. 15 min drive to Manhattan Beach or the airport. Very close to some great shopping as well. :)||I would not hesitate to book here again…excellent value…especially in Los Angeles! Thanks for great service and a wonderful stay! :)

I’m giving my rating based on the low price point. If you’re looking for a free, hearty breakfast, free parking, comfortable beds and functional AC, you can’t go wrong here. Depending on traffic, it’s not too far from the airport (airport hotels charge a lot for parking, too). A couple of feedback items: the breakfast room seating was very limited during the rush times. Also, having the plexiglass window separating the customers from the front desk staff was a bit eerie, but I can understand it is for safety reasons.

It's been awhile since I stayed at a Hotel with my family where the experience was amazing. My family and I stayed there for 2 nights and right from the start, the hotel as a whole looked very clean and welcoming. The front office clerks where very informative. Our hotel room we got was very clean including our bathroom. My kids enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. Breakfast was everything we could ask for and they had lots of food. The biggest thumbs up I experienced was when I tried to use their small gym. It was a late at night (probably 10:45PM) and wasn't aware they had a time schedule for gym use. When I asked about the gym the gentleman in the front office told me the gym usually closes at 10:30PM but that he can give me a key card for it to use it anyways. That's what I call Customer Service. I should of asked for his name. He truly knows how to take care of his customers. House Keeping left our Hotel nice and clean. Theybdid a very great job. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel looks worn, the paint on wall in the bathroom peeled off in several places, soap from the previous guest not removed from the shower cubicle. Difficult to set the temperature and water volume in the shower. Either scorching hot or ice cold. The curtain in front of the aircon limited the benefit of the aircon. Located close to LA airport so it makes departure to the airport easier in the busy morning traffic.

This was a great deal, with all basic amenities and just 15 mins south of LA airport, and closer to manhattan beach. Room was big and spacious, bathroom decent size & old style. The room has a small fridge and a small microwave. Loved the breakfast options ( roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, waffle, fruits and cereals etc..) however small seating space for all the guest. They also have complimentary coffee machine at the reception definitely worth it.
