I hated to give service only two stars because the front desk staff and breakfast crew were great and so helpful! My husband and I were only here for one night for a concert. We didn't get back to the hotel until after 1am but made sure our alarm was set for 9:15 so we could get breakfast and much needed coffee before checkout at 11. At 9:30 housekeeping was knocking at our door wanting to clean our room. I was NOT impressed. First they tapped so lightly and spoke so quietly I thought they were at another room. Nope they were at our door. Luckily we still had the lock on so they couldn't come in. I told her we were still in here and then she asked if we would be checking out today. I said yes, but it wasn't even close to 11, it was only 9:30!! I have never experienced anything like this at any hotel. But besides housekeeping our stay was great! The breakfast was delightful as well.
Good service and location. The entrance will give you a WOW impression, a beautiful lobby, an amazing breakfast area, and that's it; everything is going south from there, dirty hallway carpet, out of order Fitness center and swimming pool. Did I mention 🐜 on my daughter's bed not just one, the whole scouting team, and one of the keys to my room was not working. Fortunately, the night manager was able to find different rooms for us to relocate at 11 pm.
Night clerk was not professionally dressed, inept with the credit card transaction, and nd did not give us our Rewards gift. Day manager was great, but needs to replace this employee. Hotel overall and room were very nice, but there was barely enough room to get around the bed in what was supposed to be an accessible room.
Well we were there 10 days total and there were several problems. The good: comfy bed, clean, cotton bedding, seat in handicap shower, employees were friendly. |The bad: no gluten free options, the pool was locked and padlocked for the entire 10 days. The gym was closed. When you look in the room, it looked like there was garbage on the floor. The first day they said someone was coming to fix it that day. That never happened. It remained locked the entire time. We were in a handicap room on the 2nd floor and twice the elevator was out of service. The 2nd time was check out day. One of us - the able person had to lug all of our luggage etc down the stairs and the handicap person had to struggle to get down the stairs out of your “accessible “ hotel. The internet worked one day. One. Also we could get only two towels at a time. We asked for 4 and they would only give two. We chose this hotel because we knew we’d be there several days and would need the amenities that were advertised. We are so beyond frustrated. We were there to recover from a surgery which was recommended by a large group and I cannot believe this is the same hotel that everyone recommended. |I can’t blame the employees for the elevator going down - twice- except that they knew the gym was down and judging by the fact that it remained down for so long, that would indicate they weren’t worried about keeping things maintained well.
Located behind a hookah bar/lounge. Room was clean but definitely older. Hotel had stained carpets in the hallways and dim lighting - didn't feel "clean". Vending machines were empty and out of order. Exercise room appeared to have some sort of ceiling leak issue and didn't look available to use. Night clerk wasn't overly friendly, and there was no one at the desk in the morning, just a bowl for keycards. I did appreciate the auto espresso machine at breakfast - probably the best part of my stay.
Coming out of state and was there 1:30pm. The lady with short hair had a very nasty attitude. Told me she had to wait for her housekeeper. So, I found somewhere for my kids and I to go until 3pm. When I came back there was a new worker. She was the most nicest person I met ever. The room was clean. However, the room was hot and never got cool. I had a terrible night because I couldn’t sleep. The breakfast was really good. The pool was a little dirty but my kids and I made the best of it. I would book again but I don’t like to sleep in heat.
I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. First, I got stuck in the elevator with no lights, and none of the call or alarm buttons worked. Secondly, the staff was very rude and attempted to charge me for two rooms due to their own mistake. As a paying customer who approached the situation respectfully, I did not expect to be treated with such a poor attitude.
It’s a nice hotel. The king suite was spacious and has updated interior. The bed was comfortable and clean. It had a nice selection of tv channels including HBO and free WiFi. There is a sit-down restaurant next to the hotel within walking distance. The main road in front of the property gets extremely busy during the weekday mornings and afternoons. It’s very noisy with all the big trucks going to/from the interstate. There is a lot of shopping and restaurant options close by. The MARTA is a short drive away and Mall of Georgia is only about 35 minutes from the hotel.
