Best Western Plus Peoria - Hotel in East Peoria - 300 Eastlight Court, USA

Clean, room availability and safe in a nice spot. Had all my stuff in my car for our major event and felt good about the location with good view of the bridge at night. Also lobby was quiet where I held a business meetup

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night with our 2 dogs and I found it to be clean, pleasant, and comfortable. The staff I interacted with were polite and friendly and I had no problems with any of the amenities we used. The check out is at 12pm which I think is nice because it gives you plenty of time to get ready in the morning, especially if you are late risers like we are. The breakfast provided isn't anything spectacular but that's to be expected. It's still edible food and fairly decent with plenty of options. I would stay here again if I happen to pass through this city again.

Update - the hotel made this fee issues right for me and returned the fee. They called and explained what happened to cause the error. All good. Thank you Best Western for sorting this out! Clean hotel that meets need for an overnight trip to the Peoria area. The location is convenient. My only gripe is they’ve held my $100 “incidental fee” for over a full week without releasing it. They never told me they were going to keep that money, so it ended up being a $289 one night stay down there. I’m not a rich person and not having this released sucks because it isn’t warranted and is unexpected. Would love to have that $100 fee returned to me.

I stay here exclusively every 2 weeks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Brand new mattresses thru out. Breakfast is good, hot and a variety. Ample parking and I have a 27' straight truck.

The weekend of May 19th my family came into town for my daughter's graduation. They made reservations at this hotel. They checked in got up to the room and the room smelled like mold and piss! They went to the front desk and the lady at the front desk said to my family member "you are lying...that room does not smell like that" why would she lie? And she didn't even go check the room herself. On top of that they charged my family a full night stay and did not refund the money even after they had to go to another hotel. The front desk lady had the nerve to ask them how did you have money to go stay at another hotel! That's none of your business. Your concern is why that room smelled like that. My family member was not feeling well after going into that room and it smelled like that. Now this was a week ago and no refund has been made at all. Emails have been sent to corporate and no response from them as well. This is horrible customer service. This is supposed to be a newly renovated hotel? How i don't know but sometimes when we upgrade our establishment that also includes upgrading the staff. The customer should be treated with respect. I'm glad they found another hotel that they were very pleased with and they will return to that other hotel when they come back to visit. I Definitely would not stay here or recommend this hotel to nobody else.

This was a horrible experience! I rented a room for me and my elderly mother! The hotel smells of mold as soon as you walk into the door! I wasn’t upset until I got in the room and the mold over takes you! They had the air conditioning on the highest setting to try and drown out the smell! My mother immediately started to react so I asked could I get a different room they didn’t have two beds but 1 and a couch! Therefore I asked for a refund and they said have the third party company reach out to us . When the third party company reached the manager named Joellen Foust lied to the company and said the room didn’t smell like mold and I refused a new room with two beds!! She’s a horrible person to want to see an elderly person sleep in a molded room and she’s an asthmatic! I told them that at the desk!! They do not care about your family! Please do not take your children here! That mold can get into their system and do harm to their lungs!! Joellen lied to the company so they not only kept my money she didn’t provide me with a suitable room! Joellen! God sees how you treat people!! You will pay for mistreating old people!! Do Not Stay Here! They are horrible liars who will not help the customers!!

I updated this review due to the response from MGR about the coffee area and the attitude. Hopefully it was just a bad day. This is a mediocre at best hotel. Rooms are dated, carpets dirty and in poor shape. We checked in at 9pm and I noticed the coffee (cappuccino) machine in the lobby was very dirty. 830-9am the next morning I was hoping to grab a coffee with breakfast and it was still sticky and filthy. I asked the front desk staff (not busy at all) if it could be cleaned and they seemed like they couldn’t care less, even annoyed at me for bringing it to their attention. On a good note, the breakfast attendant kept that area very clean and tidy. We travel through this area often, but will cross this hotel off our list.

Shout out to staff member Allison, who is very customer-centric and helped us solve the registration and bill issues. This is a great stay if you plan a family trip for a baseball tournament. Close to the restaurant and grocery store, and places where you would like to hang out with team.
