Positives? Staff was excellent! Breakfast was fine, loved the bed pillows and will buy them when I’m settled!!! I used the hotel for a few days prior to moving to Seattle so the location was great and I could stay with my Frenchie. It even had a freezer for my dog’s frozen Farmer’s Dog food. There are two nice restaurants across the street and a grocery store within walking distance. Negatives? It’s old but serviceable. The window coverings in my room could be tidied up. But otherwise it was clean and for my purposes adequate and affordable, sometimes difficult to find in this area in winter. It is a nice hotel for a casual stay in a pricey area.

I must say the best thing about this place was the staff that were working the front desk. Debbie and Carla were amazing. We were traveling for business and stayed two days, and they were very accommodating and helpful. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. They also had a nice breakfast. It was very good and filling. Yes, we would stay here again.

The staff was professional, courteous, and helpful. We had an issue with our first room upon checking in. The front desk rectified it immediately. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast the next morning was great. Great options. This hotel is walking distance from local shopping and dining. I would stay here again.

The hotel smells bad—old and musky. There were also remnants of mildew in the bathroom. Looks like newly renovated, although. Some of the staff were polite and kind while others were tired and angry, incompetent. The breakfast was mediocre. They also were willing to argue with my family over pet fees which had already been paid. We were forced to change rooms to continue our stay. Even the bedsheets and towels had small stains. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were available in the shower but the cartridges were empty upon arrival for our stay. Overall, the environment has not been welcoming. Still, a man, possibly a manager, who overseen one of the employees originally told us that it is a pet-friendly hotel and that animals are welcome so that we would not be moving rooms. I guess the majority has to be satisfied.

Tiny pillows, but I had my own pillows with me. Comfortable bed and very large room. Great and friendly staff. Ok continental breakfast. Accommodated my requests. Very safe area of South Florida in Palm Beach County. I would stay here again.

The room was reasonably clean. The pillows were very lumpy. Several items in the bathroom needed repair. The room lacked adequate lighting and electrical outlets. With the small vanity in the bathroom, it would have been nice to have another mirror, table, and outlet together for getting ready. Those items were all available, but not in close proximity.

The Best Western Plus in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with Front Desk Manager Debbie Mattes is a property you will like.||The location is close to beaches and restaurants and in a safe neighborhood. The front desk reps are fantastic and housekeepers are friendly. The grounds and building are attractive. But it is always the property’s management that sets the tone and inspires positive stays. I had a slight concern (nothing is perfect is it!) and brought it to the attention of Debbie Mattes. She did what great leaders do and addressed it to my full satisfaction. ||I am pleased to post this as my 40th positive review. |

I chose to stay at this hotel because it was one of the only hotels I could find in the area with good reviews and an affordable price. Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to the reviews I read. I've never experienced this before, but literally as I opened the door to my hotel room, I saw multiple roaches scurry across the floor. I get it, it's Florida and it's hard to keep the bugs out, but I've never just opened the door to a hotel and immediately seen roaches. I didn't even have to look for em, they were just right there. The shower was also really gross and had what looked like a blood stain on the floor. The people at the front desk weren't very friendly or helpful. Overall just a really bad experience. Based on the reviews, maybe I just got really unlucky, but if you're reading this I would definitely consider paying the extra $50 and staying somewhere nicer.
