Best Western Plus North Miami/Bal Harbour - Hotel in North Miami - 12210 Biscayne Blvd, USA

Not the worst but close to it. Smelled like pot so bad everywhere all the time. It is a non-smoking hotel. There’s no free breakfast included. There were transient sleeping in the lobby. When we checked out there was a crazy woman smoking cigarettes, and yelling at the garbage can when we checked in not a very good experience. I would definitely not stay here again.

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, centrally located on Biscayne blvd. I am not from US so don't drive, very close to public transport. Some good restaurants close by. Lot of shopping available on Biscayne blvd, Aventura mall is not too far from here. I am vegan, so not much options available for me. Will Definitely go again.

I stayed at this hotel for less than 24 hours because my flight came in at 3am and I couldn’t check into my airbnb until 4pm. In the 13 hours I was there, I was treated so well by employees and also felt so at ease. I flew in by myself and was a little nervous to be staying at a hotel in Miami all alone while waiting for my husband to fly in that afternoon. I went out for a morning jog at 630 and the lady at the front desk was even worried and let me know what direction I should jog in. I’m sure nothing would have happened, but it’s never a bad idea to be cautious. I loved their coffee machine in the front lobby, and enjoyed a little bit of pool time after my jog. All in all, my stay was short but I felt very welcomed by staff and next time I’m in Miami I will be coming back to this Best western.

The proximity to Barry University and Whole Food are the best things about this hotel. We would stay elsewhere otherwise. Guest rooms and hallways are tired and need renovation. Bathroom was especially subpar - grout in shower was moldy and toilet didn't flush.

My stay there is always a pleasant one it is close to my job the rooms are clean the customer service is great and tangela is very helpful at the front counter. She has an awesome attitude and makes sure your stay is a comfortable one. It's in a great location and all the shopping is very close.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. I wish I could give a lower rating. Dreadful, horrendous, awful, terrible. Shockingly, throughout all the issues, you can never reach the manager. The service I received was unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed with the lack of care and attention shown by your staff. On the night of my stay, someone attempted to enter my room. This was a deeply distressing and traumatic experience, and I am appalled that the safety of your guests is not taken more seriously. What made the situation more traumatizing for me is that my wife was with me, and if that person got in my room and had bad intentions, my wife could have gotten hurt. I immediately reported the incident to the staff, but they were dismissive and did not take my concerns seriously. I was told that the manager was not available and that my situation was not an emergency. This is completely unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed with the lack of care and attention shown by your staff. I am writing to you in the hope that you will take action to address the issues I have raised. I believe that the safety of your guests should be your top priority, and I am requesting that you take steps to ensure that this type of incident does not happen again. I would also like to request that you provide me with the contact details for the manager of the hotel. I would like to discuss my experience with them directly, and I believe that it is important for them to be aware of the issues that I have raised. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Positive: The location of hotel is perfect. Has access to beach which is very convenient. The room had partial beach view which was awesome. Room amenities were good. I would definitely book here again when I'm back for my next vacation Negative: Parking is expensive.

Average Hotel with dated rooms but clean and comfy beds. There is a very large construction project going on across the street that shuts down around 6pm but gets started around 6am. Along with that, during my stay the intersection at the construction site was partially blocked so lots of car horns during the day. This was a working trip for me so I didn't use the pool but the local birds had no issues using it for themselves. Construction picture taken from 5th floor North side of the building. If you stay here, ask for an odd room number if you are concerned about construction noise. Odd rooms face the "quiet" side of the hotel.
