My family booked this hotel for a night to relax. When we got there, we asked about the extensive flyers and warnings posted on the property, but we were told to ignore them. They reminded us that the pool and spa closed at 8, so we hurried down and showered, just to find that the hot-tub isn’t running, and the pool isn’t heated. When reporting this to the front office, we were told there was nothing they could do about it. When we asked to talk to a supervisor, we were informed that they wouldn’t be available until the following morning, two hours before we check out. The person working the front desk should be capable of keeping things running smoothly. We are terribly disappointed. We should be able to trust that we are getting what we paid for.
If zero could be selected, I would have chosen it. Called the office and made sure the had my reservation. They did. Drove more than 2hrs only to find out that they decided to rent to someone else who was paying more. Ended up having to stay at another hotel. (Which had me fully registered in the time I arrived)
I've been here multiple times over the years since 2014. The complimentary breakfast is always a plus. You can walk over to Roma pizza for some good food. You are not far from the Regal Movie theater in People's plaza. Texas Road House is right across the road. Long Horn steakhouse is 5 minutes away as well.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel on August 23rd to the 24th. When we arrive the room appeared to be very clean; however, a bug was crawling across the table which I killed. A few minutes later there was another bug crawling on the table and also on the bed! We immediately contacted the desk clerk and they gave us another room. Unfortunately, we found bugs crawling on the wall. I contacted the hotel manager Robert Allen and left a message regarding our concerns and he was nice enough to grant a refund.
I surely did not stay here. My sister in law requested this motel. I was going to take her to the Hilton but she wanted to stay at this motel. Not sure why but oh well. So I really can’t review but I do know the owner was exceptionally nice. I am basing on my review with the kindness of owner.
I like BW. But this location didn’t do it for me. Best thing about it was it was located next to Roma’s. Parking was only in one side of the hotel so we couldn’t see our vehicle. The beds were too soft and creaked every time we moved and it was a loud creak. The AC didn’t work well. Turned it down to 66 and never felt cool until morning. Mold/mildew above the shower was perfect for my girlfriend who has lung/breathing issues. Breakfast was, well, edible. It was just an ok stay. Gentlemen working front desk never smiled nor said anything when I asked for another shower towel.
The worst don't ever stay here. The staff was unprofessional, there's was no manager on duty. People who made reservation months in advance were turned away because their information was not in the system. Supposed to be 100% smoke free yet my room smelled like someone lived in it and chained smoked, the only solution was to spray. The overall hotel had the smell of a wet dog.
I feel as if I wasted a free night here! I earned a free night from a spring break promotion, so I booked a room here on my way through the area. We checked in around 9 and were told that the pool had closed at 8! Why?! We were assigned a room that seemed as if it hadn't been used in a while. The towels smelled musty and there was a spider on a web in the sink. In the breakfast area, they have a machine that makes several hot beverages. This is cool, but not efficient when you have an area full of people who have to wait for their turn. They need another machine or the large carafes that other hotels use. They had a good variety of hot foods as well as a pancake machine.
I joined Burn Boot Camp in Bear the day it opened. This gym is so supportive! It meets you at your level of fitness and helps you build from there. The modifications for each exercise allows you to work around injuries. I love how the entire staff
I've been a member at Crossfit Bear for the past 3 years. What started as a way to get in shape quickly morphed into a second home. Quinn isn't just a coach anymore, she's a friend. All of the coaches here are amazing. They are not only very talente
I've been climbing here semi-regularly for about a year. The staff is great, the courses change frequently enough to stay interesting (but last long enough to conquer a tricky course that bests you a few times), and there are lots of options to climb
Absolutely delicious tacos! This is one of my favorite places to eat around the area. I prefer to go out of my way to travel to this specific location if I'm in the mood for tacos, I actually pass by 4 taco food trucks to get to this one! The hot sa
Loved the authentic taste and the service was phenomenal! Wasn't too hungry the first visit but everything tasted so great that I had to come back for more, and the lady was great about helping pick and choose items to try out a variety of stuff. Def
If you want to support local businesses then go no further than Riviera Pizza! Tonight was a great occasion my children each earned honors for their marking periods! So to celebrate we went to our favorite spot! It is a hidden gem for great eats! The
It was our first time here and it was great! Our server was so nice and very friendly. Pad Thai was our favorite, Thai basil fried rice, not so much. It tasted .. off? Not like the kind I usually have. But they have a lot of other items that I'm exci
First time at this hibachi restaurant last night. We were a little dismayed when I called a few weeks earlier to make a reservation to find out that itâs all first come first service, and then we had to wait about an hour for our group of 7 to be s
Food was excellent. Service was quick & efficient. Server was nice & helpful. I had the cheese steak omelet & pancake. Both were very good. Cheese steak was tender. Checkout was easy. So glad I tried this place. I will be back!
Authentic. The best Ma Po Tofu of my life and Iâve tried a lot. Beef noodle soup is delish, heavy in the sesame oil which I love. And the chow fun is also delicious. Unsuspecting little hole in the wall joint, but very authentic and delicious. Donâ
