This is one of the Best Westerns we've stayed at. The ladies working the front desk were extremely friendly. The pool was great. They offer a great breakfast and the lady working the breakfast room was just wonderful. She was so sweet and made sure our kids were taken care of which I really appreciated. 5 star service for sure. We'll definitely be back. This location is near the highway and not far from stores making it really convenient.

Wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend it. Pet friendly and has a great area to sit outside with your pets. Staff is very friendly and so helpful! The food is great and so much from which to choose. They have a great pool with a fantastic slide! We plan to return for a weekend and bring our granddaughter to enjoy the pool/slide!

Exterior of hotel is well kept up. Rooms are clean, linens for sofa bed were readily provided. Hotel main areas are clean. Ice water, iced tea, and coffee provided in lobby (tea was brewed, delicious!). Slide for pool was under maintenance, but pool was clean, in good condition, depth from 3.5 to 6 ft, cool water. Plenty of towels available, even late at night. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided breakfast was best I've seen since 2020. Plenty of prepared foods, lots of options, the area kept tidy, it was great!

This is a great place to stop for the night. The beds are comfy! I fell asleep almost immediately & slept through a storm & my alarm. The rooms are clean. It felt like a safe place to be. Good access to restaurants. The staff is welcoming. Also, the price point is good.

My room was only cleaned up and fresh towels provided 2 days out of the 4 we stayed there. Trash was never removed. I don’t live like this at home and don’t expect to have to live like this when staying in a hotel/motel. We worked hard every day we were in Salina helping a brother-in-law recover from surgery by visiting him and maintaining his home, pets and yard. We returned to our room to find that it was not cleaned and the used towels were still on the floor. This was very disappointing. I won’t stay here again. |We have had great luck staying at Best Western Plus hotels but this one is not receiving my recommendations.

The toilet was nonstop running no matter how much you jiggle the handle, the sprinkler on the walls was pulled out. Requested towels, sugar and late check out staff did not follow up or provide items. Breakfast was good not many options and lacked oatmeal or cream cheese for bagels. Pool was absolutely amazing the kids loved it!

Booked a four day, three night stay, specifically reserving a handicap accessible room, as I am a disabled Veteran. We also needed a dog friendly hotel, and this was one of the few spots that offered both. When we arrived we were told there were no handicap rooms available, despite the fact that we clearly reserved one days prior. The parking lot was well lit, and fairly easy to get in and out of. But only had three total handicap spots, which wasn't enough for a hotel. Breakfast was small, but it was still a good spread with lots of options. I appreciated the lemon water and iced tea offered all day. The room we got was pretty bad. Immediately hot with a strong musty / mildew scent as we walked in, which never improved. And it also smelled like it was a previous smoking room. The curtains would not shut all the way, allowing both light to pour in from the sun and exterior lighting. And being on the first floor, I'm sure the nice people of Salina got to see more than they wanted too. The curtains also blocked the air return on the AC, so unless we stuffed the curtains into the window frame and blocked it with random heavy objects, the air flow would be blocked. The bathroom door, when shut completely, could not be opened back up from the inside. The toilet had a faulty wax seal, as water would seep up and out of the bolt assembly, and onto the floor. The shower head could not be adjusted. There was black mold along the top of the shower stall along the caulking seal (probably be cause there's no exhaust fan.) We didn't have much choice in the matter, and were never contacted or notified about any other handicap rooms becoming available. I made it work, but it wasn't comfortable or hygienic in the slightest. For the most part the staff were courteous and pleasant to talk too. That being said it's hard to recommend this hotel to stay, and we will most likely never come back - especially considering we couldn't use the handicapped room that we specifically reserved.

We have stayed at a few different best westerns over the Midwest and have never been disappointed. This one was disappointing stay. At first, when we walked in the room, it smelled musty. That seemed to go away. We went to use the pool and the slide was out of order so that was disappointing for my 5 and 7 year old. The water looked murky and dirty and once we got in we found a wad of hair/fuzz/tape. That was enough to convince my kids to want to get out and they didn't want to go back. We all showered up and within 15 minutes all of our feet were black, including our 1 year olds feet on her footy jammies. The carpet was at this point squishy and damp, not sure if the cement underneath had condensation or what. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was good. We got there with 1 hour remaining in the breakfast window and the juices were gone, they got refilled right before we got up to leave. It seemed like only one lady was working between breakfast and the front desk so she was doing the best she could and was very polite and had a good attitude. The staff was all very kind and helpful but we decided to cancel our 2nd night stay because of the other things listed. I also was very disappointed with the price we paid for one night when I had booked 2 weeks ago at a way lower rate. We ended up paying $218 for 1 room, where the pool was basically out of commission, the refreshments were not present at all in the am or at checkout, and that was for 1 night. I would never pay that for even a 5 star hotel so this will eat at me and unfortunately we will know not to return here the next time.

James at the front desk was very accommodating! This guy needs a raise promotion or both! His customer service was top notch! We had a total of 9 rooms for a get together. They were spacious and clean! The breakfast was good as well.
