Best Western Plus LaCrescent / LaCrosse - Hotel in La Crescent - 509 N Chestnut St, USA

This is an attractive and tastefully decorated hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable with microwave and refrigerator. I used the treadmill in the fitness center. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was comfortable with an outside area as well. The person who checked us in wasn’t particularly personable but the person who checked us out was. I would have rated the hotel “excellent” except for two things. I requested a ground floor room but did not get it. Also, the price I was charged at checkout was $6.08 higher than what I was quoted when I made the reservation. Apparently this was a “resort fee.” I think that when a hotel quotes a price when you book the room they should not be adding on charges later.

I would recommend this place to anyone. It looks like a brand new building. Everything was clean and working. Great breakfast in the morning. The only downside I could find was that they didn’t have a hot tub which would have felt good after all our hiking. A small price to pay for a great room!

We had a very good experience at the B/W LaCrescent. Friendly and helpful staff at a great location. We stayed here to visit some family we hadn't seen in years. Rooms are clean and comfy with a nice breakfast. |Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times now. Of the hotels that I’ve stayed in, this one is very consistent in terms of quality of experience. The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful, even when I’ve booked through a third party. We traditionally reserve a Standard Room, 1 King Bed in a non-smoking area. The room comes with a refrigerator & microwave and a walk-in shower. The room has always been very clean and well managed. The units are solidly built so most of the time you’re isolated from noisy neighbors. I especially appreciated the free HBO. 😊 This location is strategically well-placed near highway US-14 E/US-61, which provides easy arrival and departure. Additionally, the bar next door offers a nice meeting place for groups of people visiting. The Kwik Trip, is located on block away. The proximity provides alternative food choices and a quick way to refuel before departing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean and all the appliances were in good working order. We had no hairdryer in the room and notified the desk immediately. Got one pronto. We had asked for additional washclothes upon checking in and they were supplied to us also. Staff on site very pleasant

This hotel was perfect for our 1 night stay during a family road trip. Check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly. Our spacious room was clean and had comfortable beds. (We used the sofa bed, which was okay, but could use an upgrade. ) Soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided. The complimentary breakfast was huge and delicious - a perfect start to our day. Check-out was a snap.

Our annual team training camp (Cycling) is held here and my experience for both of the last 2 years has been great. WEe do the Apple Blossom ride on the Saturday and then a teram ride on Sunday. The food is great and the amenities are very good. Will definitely stay again next year.

We have been trying to find a nice hotel in this area to call second home when we visit our friends out here. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful little hotel. The staff, the rooms, and the breakfast! This was definitely worth every penny we paid and more than we deserve. :-) thank you for everything and Lord willing will see you again.
