Best Western Plus Goodman Inn & Suites - Hotel in Horn Lake - 6910 Windchase Dr, USA

This hotel was called a best Western plus. It was definitely not a plus! At check-in we had to wait for 15 minutes for a clerk to come and finally check us in. Our room was on the second floor and the elevator and entire second floor hallway smelled of marijuana. Our room had broken tiles marks on the walls, and was basically older and rundown. When it came time to take a shower, we had no hot water. We called the front desk they came up, ran the water for a while and said yes, it’s not as hot as it should be, but maybe it’s just because everyone is showering at the same time. Not a very helpful answer. The ladies at breakfast were very friendly, but the food was not up to par. All in all I would not stay here ever again.

This is a great hotel offering a great experience. The amenities are great. The staff are courteous. I enjoy the comfort of the room. This hotel offers a variety of choices for breakfast (during and on each day). I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the high shower head, I didn't have to duck to get under the water flow. The bed was a little bit high, but it was good for me. If my wife was along she would have had to give a little jump to get in. Breakfast was hot and very good.

Not recognized as an Elite Member. ||Turn on security lights at dusk dark not 9:00 after being asked to turn them on. Fix hotel elevator door please. Grinds heavily opening and closing. Breakfast was soupy scrambled eggs. One quarter inch of water in the pan. Coffee is terrible.

I always stay at this hotel because the staff always makes me feel welcome. They are really nice and helpful. Also the beds are soft and comfortable which makes it easy to relax. What I like most is my room was really cleaned I make a habit of checking to be sure no matter where I stay and Best Western does a thorough cleaning.

Where should I start?, First, when we arrived the lady at front counter didn't seem to be to friendly. Second, we arrived in room and my wife began to wipe everything down as she always does when we go somewhere, after wiping several areas the wipes she was using have turned black from everything, surfaces are apparently not clean. The carpet was not clean and had stains. Third, the second day the elevator broke down and was broken for the rest of our stay. And apparently it was broke down a few weeks before so it's common. The pool was closed for our entire stay. Fourth, the building is not secure especially in evenings, the side doors don't latch, and tried to latch them myself and still would open from outside. Even after hours, anyone could walk in. Couldn't believe all that was wrong with this place. Never again will I visit this dirty, broken place.

In my experience, there wasn't a lot that was fantastic about the Best Western Goodman Inn. I thought the location was adequate, but not super. The best part was being located near Target and places to eat. The negative was that traffic to get to or from the hotel was not good at all. Service was adequate but not super. I think all-in-all it was an average hotel.

Upon making my reservation the hotel clerk confirmed I would get an established rate for my stay. My reservation covered 22 days. I made very clear upfront that I may need to extend my reservation a few days in which I did. Then reviewing my receipt the following day realized that for the 4 nights that I extended I was charged $15 more per night than the rate that the hotel and I agreed too. Best Western customer service nor the Hotel would consider making this right with me. I stay with Best Western a lot, being a diamond select member this issue was very disappointing. ||Just wanted to add that occasionally the hot water in my room would not work and the room I had was showing a lot of wear, the couch was so worn i wouldn't even set on it.
