Best Western Plus Gardena Inn & Suites - Hotel in Gardena - 14400 S Western Ave, USA

I read the reviews for this hotel and was a little weary about going here, especially paying $250 for a room. It was on Labor Day weekend, so it makes sense, but the Hotel itself was fine. The staff was really friendly, I got my 2 free water bottles, the elevator can only be used by a key card, they accommodated my request to have a room by the elevator and the room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, TV worked fine and the water pressure in the shower was great! I stay in hotels throughout Cali and Nebraska and whenever I travel. I was very pleased with this location! It definitely made my weekend very enjoyable and peaceful!

I’m not going to lie. This is the first review I’ve written. But I just had to give this place props. Our room was very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was fantastic. Bathroom was well lit And modern. 2 king beds which is normally hard to find for us. Elevators had special security. Where you had to use your room key to operate. |Now for the bad. Pool was small but clean. The area around the hotel was a little run down but Walmart, target and jc pennys were within a 10-15 drive. Never felt unsafe in hotel or around the places we went. Great little donut shop within walking distance.

Overall a great hotel for good value for money. Spent 4 nights there in May 2024. First two nights in a queen room facing the road. The room had some traffic noise. Other nights in a king room facing the pool. The king room was much nicer and larger compared to the queen room. There was no traffic noise either. The hotel was only about 20 minutes from LAX so it was very convenient. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good range of items. Gym was small but adequate. It had a couple of bikes, a couple of cross trainers, weights and some other equipment. Car park was free and fairly large. Outdoor pool was small (didn't use it). There are a couple of fast food restaurants almost next to the hotel.

Always a good property to stay at. Easy parking and close to fast food, shops etc. well priced and quite large rooms. Good to have lounge space too. Always friendly staff from the front desk to the maintenance people. Nice coffee through the day and really good to see complimentary newspapers on offer. Undercover parking too.

Very fancy. — Room — The room was plush, comfy, and felt like home. I had a very nice good night’s sleep, the beds were very soft and comfortable. There was no hair, bed bugs, or dirt anywhere inside the room. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness. — Customer Service — The people at the front desk were very nice and catered to our every needs. The housekeepers were also very nice. — Breakfast — The food selection in the breakfast room was very good. There were scrambled eggs, egg and cheese, egg patties, sausages, sausage patties, bacon, waffles, yogurt, milk, coffee, juice, and milk. There was also dessert and bread. (And other things you’ll usually find at a hotel breakfast room.) There was no baked beans, but that’s okay. — Pool and Excersice Room — The pool was a bit smaller than expected, but that’s okay since me and my family didn’t have time to swim anyway. —————— The exercise room was like a regular except use room, but I would suggest to add a scale there for people to weigh themselves. 🏨🏨 Would I stay here again/reccomend? —————— I would definitely stay here again if I visit Los Angeles again! This was the perfect spring break getaway and I absolutely enjoyed every moment. The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant. Even after check out when my deposit was held longer than expected the management themselves stepped up and had my bill adjusted, I truly cannot endorse this property more. They assisted us from beginning to end. The continuous coffee in the lobby is such a great perk especially for someone like me who works late evenings and they really set the bar for hot breakfasts, not one single complaint!||There is a taco bell, Burger King, and waba grill nearby as well as a gas station and 7/11, so it's a good little spot.

This hotel is amazing it is so unfortunate that it is in such a bad location. Rooms are very clean, breakfast room was spotless and food was hot/fresh. However it is nearly impossible to get good sleep due to the hotel being located on a very busy road. I was assigned a room facing west and the sunset view from the 4th floor was great. However, the noise from the street ruins it all. You can hear loud cars, motorcycles and endless sirens from ambulances and fire trucks driving by all night long. Im not sure if the rooms facing east are any quieter since they are more isolated from the road. If you are a light sleeper i would recommend asking for an east facing room. The neighborhood is very bad however i felt my car was safe due to the parking being semi gated and right next to the reception. The pillows were also extremely hard and uncomfortable. Mattress was fine.

Positive: I love how the hotel is quiet and the safe is very helpful. I really like the fact that you have to have a key to get to the floors. Negative: I did have to call the front desk, to ask for air freshener due to my room not smelling fresh. They did bring me some air freshener so I could spray in the room. Negative: ""
