Best Western Plus Eagle/Vail Valley - Featured Reviews (824)
What a terrible stay. We have always been diehard Best Western people but we won’t be staying again after this experience. Our room was very unappealing for the price of nearly $200 a night. As soon as we walked in, late at night, we tried to turn on a lamp. Broken…. Oh well, we weren’t there to spend time in the room. The next morning I tried to charge our devices. Power blocks literally fell out of the sockets onto the floor. Okay, we will shower… in a trickle. Tried to get back into our room that first day, nope. Every day the cards stop working and you must go to the front desk to have them redone. They told us to keep them away from our devices. Even in the trunk. Each day they had to be redone. Whatever, we dealt with these inconveniences. Until our last day. We noticed our room was never cleaned. We were told nothing about this at check-in. So I read through the book… nothing. Finally on our last day, out of towels, we put out the please clean this room sign. When we returned nothing had been done. I called the front desk and was told unless I came to the desk and requested cleaning it wouldn’t be done. Why weren’t we told? We are out of towels. Not even an apology. Just repeated that it wouldn’t get done. That was it. We showered that last day with our wet dirty towels and left that horrible customer service behind us. Never again Best Western.
Hotel was not in good condition. Shower faucet was broken. Breakfast was mediocre. |Customer service was lackluster - didn't respond when mentioned broken shower. Decent location as long as you don't face Rt. 70. Large room. Pretty quiet.
For $239 a night I received a decent night sleep but stayed here for the free HOT breakfast in the morning. Only to find the waffle batter was gone by 8 and the pancake machine was broken. So we got eggs and potatoes that were nearly gone. When I asked the kitchen staff she said sorry we don’t have anymore and I said well can you find some? She replied with its too late to make more batter which is an hour longer until breakfast is done. Then I went to the front desk to ask for help and the man at the desk was extremely rude to me and said its not his problem. So I asked for a refund and he offered $20 off of the $239 and I said well $50 would be better because we stayed here for the HOT breakfast. Note they were also out of break and milk and muffins and pastries were all gone. He then said $20 take it or leave it!!!! What happened to the service industry???
Leo at the front desk gave outstanding customer service. Be sure to ask for him if you book at this hotel. Also for a mid-level hotel they have great amenities. In addtion to a pool they have a hot and wet sauna which I only expect at 5 star hotels.
Right off the highway, easy to get to. Staff is friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had. Room was spacious, and clean. Pool and spa area is relaxing after a long day. Would stay here again.
Stayed in room 205. It was clean. Whomever the maintenance person for facility tried to cobble shower faucet repair & it was either a scalding hot shower or cold shower. I tried calling front desk but phones are dead. The hotel needs major upgrading . I let front desk know when checking out & they asked if I wanted another room to shower. I took a cold one so know. Not cleaning person fault but no tip was left in room.
On the morning of 4th of July, my family experienced a blowout right outside of Eagle, CO. We had to last minute book a room at this hotel and had nowhere to go at 10a on a holiday without a vehicle. The staff was able to get us settled into our room which was clean and spacious. The amenities were more than I expected at a Best Western and I was so grateful for the front desk for making our day just a bit brighter.
Pool area, steam and dry sauna.....very nice! Room, big towels, clean, was surprisingly quite for a Friday night.... Slept well! Breakfast was busy, recommend waiting a bit after it opens😃, as there was plenty of food. Great stop if traveling late, as your a few miles out of the canyon heading west, which is better in morning hours vs dark 👁️👁️
Eagle River Park is a true gem. Its location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by natural beauty. The park offers excellent amenities and convenient access to the river, with cement pads on both sides for added convenience. During our visit in late
One of those classic spots that are consistently kind and helpful and friendly while providing beyond delicious food! A sandwich that has tons of flavor without solely relying on cheese is important to me and not an easy thing to master! Iâve been
Really relaxed and small-town place with a drive-through and a pick-up window for ordering. Their patio is nice for dogs and they have a dog bowl out. Great ice cream flavors and prices! The ice cream prices are better than the prices for the food at
