Lindy was AAAAHHHmazing. The area has a power outage but she was very helpful to guests and got me to my room very quickly. She truly went above and beyond the level of excellence. The hotel was full and she did get beat to meet every need Thank you Lindy. You are awesome The maintenance guy was great as well. I'm sorry that I didn't get his name. He was very helpful.

Positive: I was blown away this place. Stayed at a Hampton Inn a few weeks ago and this wonderful place just took the cake. Nice wonderful clean and joyful place to stay. The breakfast was better than expected and all that you needed was there and more. Negative: None what so ever.

Booked a reservation for November 25 to 26 for a one night stay, since I was invited for a birthday party. I chose this location due because it was really close to where the party was gonna be at. It wasn’t hard to find once headed out to center Tx. The lobby was nice and clean. The front desk was good on service in checking in. She was able to find my 3 room reservation. There was a bit of miscommunication on which room key was the 2 Queen bed room and the other 2 rooms of king bedroom . But we figured it out ourselves. Not a big deal on that in my opinion but just wanted to state my experience on my checking in. The room that I stayed at was the 2 queen bed room (206). The room was nice and clean. Nice and well set up of towels, soaps and everything you would expect in a good hotel room. The only thing I would want to point out is the room main light entry was blinking a bit once we turned it off to go to sleep. Other than that it was a well deserved stay for my room. My grandparents stayed to king bed room (#203) it all looked nice and clean. Everything was nice until they noticed the housekeeper forgot to put up the shower curtain and provided clean towels. I called the front desk and they apologized about it and send out someone to take care of it for my grandparents room. The other thing they told me is that their tv wasn’t working. I wanted to state this just so they can have it fixed for that room for the next customer. My grandparents were ok about it even though they did wanted to watch tv to by time to wait for the party. Checking out was alright and what I mean with it was alright. I asked the front desk if everyone else has been checked out she answered me saying that she didn’t know. I think it would have been best if she would have said to me instead I’m not sure somebody else attended them or like oh I wasn’t an aware that they are part of your check out. I was ok about it but I highly recommend that who ever runs the front desk to not respond with I don’t know instead in a more professional manner. I know we make mistakes since we only human. Just letting you know on it. Because for me it was ok but maybe not to the next customers you will come across with at your hotel. Other than that will definitely stay avian at this hotel if I ever have to come back to center Tx for a special occasion. Much appreciated and thanks for providing a good service for our stay. For my family, myself and even our dogs.

We had a great room that was very clean. The toilet would not shut off and Best Western amenities are pretty spartan. Some trouble with elephants dancing on the fourth floor but they tired and went to bed early. Breakfast was a complete train wreck. The attendant did not come in and the desk agent chose to spend more time complaining that filling the service void. You name it, they were out of it by 8:30 am. At check in we were told breakfast ended at 10 am on Sunday, it actually shut down at 9 am.

Bugs, bugs and bugs. I was in room 101 with my wife. All started well until I feet things crawling on my face at 4:00am. I immediately jumped out of bed, turn on the bed light and saw 2 bugs that appeared similar to June Bugs. As soon as the light came on the bugs scurried under the pillow toward the wall and down the mattress. We left immediately. I spoke to the front desk attendant named Jackson and advised him what happen and suggested they close the room off until a pest control company could inspect the room. I called the manager the following Monday and explained my experience. She denied the existence of bugs and further explained that the subsequent guests had not reported any insect encounters. They rented out the room without inspection! If you’re traveling to or through Central, TX, BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL.

The general manager Heather N. Matlock was caring, friendly, went out of her way to make us comfortable. She kept the floors in the lobby clean and also the eating areas. She met all our needs in a friendly manner. The pool was clean and inviting. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious . |We required a room close to the elevator and she provided it for us. |Thank you Best Western for making my Mother's Day weekend happy and fun!

Rooms very nice and comfortable....but the a/c unit and the ceiling fan wasn't working properly in my room....I wished that could have controlled the a/c from the wall thermostat....but overall, good stay.

Everything was excellent up until I went down for breakfast. The normal pancake or waffle option looked to be having issues and the only precooked stuff out was cheese omelet, ill call them gewy potatoes and greasy bacon. Seasoning was off the cooks mind I guess. Orange juice and yogurt machines had an "out" note on them. It was about 7.30 when I went down. Place wasn't busy at all.
