We stayed here from 8/30 - 9/2. It was a late check-in. Front desk clerk got us in quickly. The hotel appears to be updated and was clean throughout. This is not a pet friendly hotel and no smoking is allowed. Which is 1 of the reasons we booked here due to both of us having severe allergies. However, we did see a guest leaving the pool area with a small dog and another guest in a wheelchair with a small dog. Neither of the animals were service animals. They more than likely snuck the pets in due to them being so small (reason for the 4 stars). All of the hotel employees we encountered were pleasant and helpful: housekeeping, breakfast attendant, front desk. For breakfast it was the standard continental breakfast options most hotels offer with a few extras: waffles, biscuits, gravy, rosemary potatoes, bananas, oranges, yogurt, bagels, blueberry muffins, cinnamon roll danish, toast, apple juice, orange juice, almond milk, regular milk, coffee, cereal, instant oatmeal/grits along with various toppings (raisins, nuts, etc). The proteins changed the days we were there: smoked sausage, chicken nuggets, sausage link. The chicken nuggets were pretty good and actual white meat. Eggs varied by the day as well scrambled/cheese omelets. I didn't catch the breakfast attendant's name but she kept everything fresh, stocked, hot and the entire area cleaned. She also assisted me with whip cream every time I came down for hot chocolate. She was truly amazing! The area is a bit small and can become very tight or busy weekend days. The brewing of single cups of coffee is nice but can be a pain if you just want the hot water or regular filtered watered option b/c the brew can be a bit time consuming. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Didn't really care for the sheets. They felt a bit scractchy. However, the room was clean, well stocked, ac cold, hot water, fridge & microwave. Toilet flushed with no issues and water drained properly out of the tub. We didn't get in the pool but sat out by it for a little while. It's relatively small but the pool and pool area was kept clean and stocked with towels. There are multiple places to eat and stores within a decent distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

I hate to do this because I work for a Best Western Branch myself, but this review is needed. Upon checking into the hotel, I provided the front desk clerk with my employee voucher securing me my employee rate. The gentleman looked over my voucher that I had pulled up on my phone verified. We were good to go and told me that he didn't need anything else. Upon checkout I received a call from the hotel roughly an hour after I checked out and I missed the call. I called them back within 15 minutes and they informed me that they charged me full price because they needed the employee voucher on file in their hands. It was not an issue for me to provide the file to them. I had it emailed over while I was still on the phone with them within 2 minutes of me calling them back. When I checked my bank statement, I noticed that I was charged an additional $197. I only stayed here for two nights. My initial charge was $191. So this hotel charged me $388 to stay for two nights and I am an employee for Best Western. They told me that I would receive a refund and I have not received a refund yet and the additional $197 charge has put me in a huge hole this week and I do not appreciate how things were handled. If they could have just waited for me to call back they would have had the documents and I wouldn't have to wait 5 days to get my money back and suffer overdraft fees on my account.

Pillows could have been king size instead of small. Tv could have had sleep timer on it.. bed very comfortable elevator and stairs easy access. They allowed me to bring my service dog. Breakfast was good especially biscuits and gravy. Had very good place to walk my service dog and he was also able to run in same area. We would go back if we go to Pensacola again

This hotel was right off the highway, but took a couple turns to get to. There was plenty of space to park. We were told as we checked in that there was a 24 hour hot chocolate and coffee machine. So of course we all got hot chocolate on the way up to our room. Then in the night when we forgot something, on the way back up we got a second serving. The chocolate was very delicious. It wasn't watered down at all and I even got another cup in the morning instead of coffee.(I got to look into one of those for my house) We stayed in a suite that had a fold out couch. This suite didn't have the privacy door like the other we stayed in. The little "kitchen" area had cupboards and even a small sink. By the two queen beds, there was a switch that turned off the light that you would turn on as you walked in. Very convenient when your already in bed and don't want to get up to turn off the lights. The beds were spacious and warm. The A/C was on and cooking when we got there so it got pretty cold at night (just the way I like it). Only thing, was there were no black out shades, so the light from outside that lightened up the parking lot, lit up the room also at night. The restroom was very spacious, clean and elegant. The shower/tub area was all one piece. No worry about moldy caulking. The sink area was big. We were able to fit all the toothbrushes, hair products, face, etc for four people. They had an outside pool area that looked very clean and inviting, unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was very delicious. The area was a little small but well kept as the lady there made sure it was clean for the next family coming in. She was quick to refill when she saw anything was getting low. Be sure to tip her if you stay here as she is amazing. They served waffles, pastries,  breads, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, juices, yogurt, eggs, sausage, rosemary potatoes and biscuits.  The biscuits were amazing.. i ended up getting two.. I'm not big on biscuits but these were soft and warm on the inside while the outside had a delicious crunch.. Of course, don't  forget the coffee and hot chocolate. Only draw back was our room had a wet sock smell when we returned from breakfast. Not sure if it was the left over food we had from the night before. Overall, this place is worth stopping at.

We were in town for a funeral and had a several night stay. The rooms and facilities were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast attendants. And, the breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The price was very reasonable. The location was close to everything.

Room was very good and quiet with a small sofa, desk and king bed. Bathroom was also good with a comfortable shower/tub. My only complaint is the breakfast room is woefully small and crowded at all times breakfast is served. The included breakfast was good, usually eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, toast, yogurt, etc. The physical aspects are still newish and don't look worn out as most budget hotels will eventually acquire. Not sure we'll stay here again as there are many, many other options but it's still a nice budget hotel.

This is the best Best Western we have been to! My daughter's favorite thing is the pool and I don't know if it's because it was warm out or if the pool is heated but it was a nice temperature so I actually enjoyed being in the pool with her. It was very clean and there was some shade. We can't wait to go back!

Stayed here for over a month. The room was very spacious! My room included an oven (not all of them have one) and that was a great perk. You couldn’t ask for a better location. A 15 minute walk, or a 3 minute VEO electric scooter ride, to Palafox S
