Best Western Pearland Inn - Hotel in Pearland - 1855 N Main St #35, USA

I asked for a room on the first floor and was advised unavailable. Agreed to the 2nd floor after the front desk advised the room was at the end. It was directly in the middle. Don't lie to your customers. Guest next door was extremely noisy with his music. I do appreciate the staff jumping on that resolution. The door to the room had a gap so big on the bottom a mouse could have crawled in. As it was ran across some cockroaches. Note this hotel does not reside in a very safe neighborhood and is very noisy. Unpleasant. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is very comfortable and convenient, with a Walmart right next door, so if you’ve forgotten something or just need something to snack on, it’s right there. Staff are awesome and breakfast was good; they have an automatic pancake machine that makes pancakes without a mess.

Let me start with the advantages about this hotel before getting into the disadvantages. Advantages : 1. Location is really great. 2. Having Walmart next ti it is a Plus. 3. Decent staff. 4. Beds are good. 5. Bathrooms were good. Disadvantage: 1. Even though this hotel is being maintained this looks like a 50 year old building. 2. This hotel end to end smells very bad. Some stink across the building. (there were a few reviews about this stench and they are true.) 3. Too much cigarette smells along with the stench. 4. Fans dont work properly in the room. 5. We saw a baby cockroach. 6. Safety wise didn’t feel that safe around. This hotel is okay if you are going to just stay for a night single or even with families. Anything more than that I wouldn’t recommend.

We roadtrip from Washington State to Houston regularly and have stayed in many 2-star budget motels. This one excels in every catergory: it's clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, the staff is diligent and caring. It's clear the owners take pride in their property. The best part is the pool: waterfall and lush tropical plants. Don't miss this gem.

I enjoyed my stay here. My kids and I enjoyed the pool, overall 7/10. Breakfast was cold and you had to cook it self. Great customer service, got all of my questions and accommodations met. I would stay again in the future, hope with a hot menu breakfast!

Seeing as how the owner of the hotel tried to dismiss their terrible service with a response that completely deflects the problem I am editing my review to clarify that I did not use a 3rd party booking agent to make my reservation, I made my reservation directly with Best Western. They overcharged me by $100 and refused to refund me or do anything about it. I stayed at this hotel while visiting my daughter, son in law, and newborn grandson. The hotel was booked and I was supposed to receive a first responders discount, but the reservation was not set up properly by the booking agent. I prepaid for the room, thinking the discount had been applied but it hadn't. This was initially realized upon check in, however the person who checked me in told me that they couldn't fix it prior to check out and that it would be resolved at that time. Upon checking out, the desk agent tried to refund me the difference of $100, but the system would not allow her to do so. I was told that the refund would appear on my card used for payment within 3 business days, however it never showed up. My daughter and I have called the hotel no less than 6 times and been told that a manager would review and call me back, this never happened. Finally on call number 7 I got a hold of the manager and was told that the employee who told me I would get the discount didn't understand the promotion and that nothing could be done. The employee who told me that I would get a refund then changed her story and said that I would get a gift card for the difference. When I pointed out that if that had been the case, I would have left with the gift card, the manager became rude and combative and refused to try and help me. The rooms are what you would expect of a hotel of this caliber, the area is nice. Unfortunately, the incompetence of the front desk and management brings the hotel down to one that I would never consider again.

The hotel staff served above and beyond my expectations! The room though basic was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The price was affordable and a great value. The breakfast meats were pre-packaged to be heated in the microwave, but still tasty. Fruits, cereals, and pastries were also available.

We stay here all the time as my father lives in Pearland. It’s always clean and the staff is always accommodating and friendly! We bring our dog with us as well. There is a green belt to walk the dog and a doggie disposal with poop bags on the hotel campus outside.
