Best Western Paradise Hotel - Featured Reviews (291)
The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Liked fhat the blanket was to heavy. It seemed perfect for the time of year. The layout of the room was very nice. The bathroom door would be better as a pocket door. But all good. Like the body wash, shampoos and conditioners were on the wall in large squeeze containers.
Everything about this hotel was a delight. Front desk was welcoming, our rooms were spotless, beds were comfy, very quiet at night so we got good rest. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel. It was well worth the few extra miles, to experience this wonderful hotel. The awards on their walls, speak for themselves.
Positive: The staff was very friendly. The room was small but very clean even though it was a pet room. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We appreciated the option to bring our dog. The weekend breakfast was hearty. The whole hotel well maintained. Negative: Small room
Everything was fantastic - don't get me wrong. The elevator was on the fritz and I can't blame that on anyone. It seemed to have a vendetta against me because it worked fine for my wife and kid, lol.||Breakfast was great, the room was... well, roomy, and comfortable. It was upward of 110° in the area while we were there so the AC was much appreciated.||It was also great to see so many CalFire workers staying at the hotel as they were working on fighting the Thompson Fire. Kudos to Best Western for opening up to them!
Staff was great and went out of their way to assist. Rooms were fairly large. Ours included a desk, living space and a king bed, hotel, amenities were typical.||Breakfast provided included eggs biscuits, and gravy, waffles and traditional cold fair. Overall, I was in this area. I would stay here again.
I appreciate that you take these matters seriously. However, I would like to address a few points. Despite having a late checkout, no one addressed the issue promptly. We ended up smashing the bug ourselves with a Kleenex and left it in a coffee cup on the sink for your staff to see. This situation was highly uncomfortable and frustrating for us. We appreciate your assurance that the room will still be treated, but the lack of timely attention to our issue was disappointing. Thank you for your understanding and attention to this matter. —————- REVIEW: I recently had a deeply distressing experience at the Best Western in Paradise that has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with the management's handling of guest concerns. I woke up one night to find a roach crawling on me while I was sleeping, which was both alarming and unacceptable. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk, expecting swift and decisive action. Unfortunately, the management's response was anything but that. Despite the severity of the situation, there was a notable lack of urgency in addressing the problem. When I followed up, the front desk staff displayed a dismissive attitude, showing little empathy or concern for my plight. This response made me feel that my concerns were being trivialized. There were no visible efforts to conduct a thorough inspection or implement pest control measures, which are basic expectations for maintaining a safe and habitable environment. This experience has highlighted significant gaps in the management's policies and procedures for handling such critical issues. As a guest, I expect prompt and effective action to ensure the well-being and comfort of all residents. Sadly, the Best Western in Paradise has fallen short of these expectations. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the management to improve their responsiveness and to take guest concerns more seriously. Until then, I cannot recommend the Best Western in Paradise to anyone looking for a reliable and caring place to stay.
The property is what you expect at a Best Western, well maintained, clean and up to date. What stands out about this property is the helpful, professional and courteous staff. They are attentive and smiling. Think metropolitan accommodations with a small town vibe. An all around pleasant experience!
I have nothing but good things to say. I have not stayed here however I do plan on doing it in the near future. I stopped by today because I needed a photocopy made. As you know Paradise burned a few years back and a lot of businesses were not rebuilt. After following Google all over town to places that no longer existed. All I needed was a simple photocopy. The Best Western front desk clerk came to my rescue. She was very kind, polite, and knowledgeable. I thank you for your candor. And helping me out in a pinch with a simple photocopy. This is excellence in customer service. Definitely look forward to my visit next month. Thank you.
The Butte Creek Watershed Overlook is a pretty typical vista point pull out. There are no amenities aside from the parking lot, but the view across the canyon at sunset, combined with all of the locks on the fence, make this one of my favorite stops.
