Best Western Oceanside Inn - Hotel in Oceanside - 1680 Oceanside Blvd, USA

Happy to get away, and this Best Western met my expectations. Clean room, towels, and Nice TV and A/C with remote controls. The location is a short distance from the freeway off ramp, with the peer and restaurants a short drive away. There were no signs of zombies and the surrounding area is nicely kept. On site free breakfast was pleasant. Recommend.

Stayed here for 4 nights. -- Good hot breakfast, menu changes daily, plenty to eat with good coffee -- I was able to see the front desk only once when I checked in. But other than that I have always seen a sign that if you need help ring the bell. I did ring the bell and someone came to help. -- Beds were comfortable and the room was decent. Bathrooms were clean but the bathroom door could be upgraded. -- They made our room every single day (you just need to put the sign on the door to let them know) --Plenty of parking and at a good location.

The room we had at this hotel was the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in a very long time! I travel quite often, and I was very impressed with the how clean everything was. The floors (even in the corners) were spotless, everything in the bathroom and main room was very clean. All of the surfaces and small furniture were very clean. The window to the outside was even clean!

So many thoughts about this stay... It was fine. The room was stuffy and moist. Maybe because it was a few miles from the beach? No elevators, stairs only. Good for your heart, I guess!! The carpet was gross but the bathroom was clean. We wore shoes the entire time. I don't understand why hotels put a naked duvet between 2 sheets and call it good... You could hear the trains and traffic from vehicles nearby. The free breakfast was decent. They had a lot of options. The pool looked good. The receptionists were all nice. Location was great, close to oceanside Beach & pier. Overall - Would I stay here again? No.

Location is very convenient, just off Interstate 5. Room was clean. However, once in the shower and all wet, no shampoo in the dispenser. Then the entire dispenser came off the wall. But the real issue is the complete lack of customer service by the front desk male with the Napolean complex. At every BW I stay, I am greeting at least in a friendly manner. This little man was so argumentative and defensive it was almost comical. Terrible check in process. I know these are first world complaints, but his lack of customer service skills are so glaring. He needs training badly on how to deal with the public.

What would have been a nice place to stay ruined by cockroaches in the room. I turn on the bed side light only to see several scatter behind the nightstand. Also huge gap on sliding glass door so you're basically hearing everything that goes on outside.

Larger rooms with full amenities. Breakfast was good. There was some highway and train noise, but the bed was so comfortable I slept right through it.

Not as pictured. Room is old, carpet is nasty, bed is not comfortable. For the price they were asking, it is not worth it. Stay at the best western plus next time in oceanside, that is only 1/2 mile away. Continental breakfast is not even edible.
