Best Western New Smyrna Beach Hotel & Suites - Hotel in New Smyrna Beach - 1401 S Atlantic Ave, USA

Great ocean front view, easy check-in and parking.||BUT...our room smelled very moldy (it was disgusting - and it made my wife cough the whole time while in the room), there was a big hole in the couch, the bedroom blinds were broken. Only one elevator worked, and it was very slow and hot. ||We won't be back...Managment needs to fix - it's a shame because it's such a great location.

The location and rooms and pool were all great. And the girl who checked us out when we left was wonderful. Kailey was her name. So helpful and adorable. The world needs more people like her. 👍❤️. Apart from the elevators not working the stay was great. I’m sure they will be fixed next time we stay there.

We stayed here for Labor Day weekend and we were a bit disappointed by a few things. First - there was only 1 working elevator and it was terribly slow, we heard people complaining all weekend long.. sometimes waiting 15+ minutes for it to come back. Our room and the entire floor had a bit of a musty smell and once we saw a used cigarette on the floor in our kitchen, I'm assuming it was the smell of smoke - which is really gross. We never received any servicing of our room, which maybe that's not included but it always has been pretty standard for hotel stays for us. The staff was friendly, but again, not quite what we expected in the room and elevator situation.

This hotel is in a pretty good spot and has easy access to get to and from. The room was alright, but didn't have a pull out couch as stated when I reserved. As well, was definitely smoked in previously. The service was bad, hate to say it but just bad. No cleaning, no room service after calling, no towels at pool and not a good restaurant at all. My issue is that for such an expensive price, you'd think the place would be more helpful and nice. Probably won't stay again honestly.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. After making a two week vacation on the top floor they did not mention that they were replacing the roof. So every morning between seven and 8 o’clock in the morning, you have to leave the room because you cannot hear yourself breathe it is so loud unbelievable! The hallways are a stinking hundred degrees plus and the elevators hardly ever work so good luck carrying your luggage up to the seventh floor which it only goes to …but the elevator doesn’t even go to eight so you have to carry your luggage up to that floor. Save your money book somewhere else do not book this hotel. Don’t let it ruin your vacation.!

Situated right on the beach, it’s the ideal spot for breathtaking views and easy access to the sand and surf! Our mornings and evenings were made special by the dolphins we spotted from the shore - a truly magical experience! Our family of four found the room setup absolutely perfect! With two cozy beds and a comfortable couch, we had all the space we needed. It felt like a home away from home.

We booked our stay 3 months prior to our trip to New Smyrna for a wedding. We are also celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so we thought we'd make it a nice trip. Two days before we were scheduled to arrive we got a phone call telling us the hotel was oversold and the King Oceanfront room we booked wasn't available. I don't have "status" with this hotel brand so I know someone that did wanted that room so we were bumped and put into a double room. Of course they called after a cancellation was possible without be charged so we were stuck. The hotel manager was about as rude as they come and she could have cared less about the situation. I will say the young man that checked us in was very nice. We explained what happened so he put us as close to being oceanfront as he possible could so we appreciated that very much. The room was dark but it served it's purpose. This is a no smoking property...not even on the balcony's but we got to smell cigarette and pot smoke while trying to enjoy the balcony. While the location is great, we would not recommend this property to anyone! The only reason we gave it 2 stars was because of the young man that checked us in.

Desperate need of refresh! Only one elevator worked. Waiting in line to just get to room. The room was nice size but the furniture was is terrible shape. The ac vents were caked with debris and lint. The couch in living room was in desperate need of replacement. Was not able to use it at all. They do lock off the only disabled ramp to beach when there is a storm and did not unlock it. So getting to the deck beachside is impossible if you use mobility aids. I would just advise another option because for the price you can rent a condo.
