BEST WESTERN Mulberry Hotel - Hotel in Mulberry - 2525 State Rd 60, USA

Worst experience ever at this hotel. Got locked out of my room to start. Had to wait for the front desk to get a hold of somebody and it took more then 20 minutes to get into my room after I had all my stuff in the room already for my 2 day stay. They had to put me in another room that the bathroom sink was clogged up and leaking at the bottom. I couldn't hang anything in the closet because the shelf would have fallen and they still charged me full price! When I booked that room I already booked it for 2 more days the following week. I have no choice but to stay there for two more days next week because it states no refunds.

This was my first time staying at a best western and probably last. I stay at the one in mulberry Florida and i am glad i canceled my second day. For $179 a night, i expected better. The hotel is outdated and not very clean. The room i stayed at (201) was not the best to say the least. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever ever ever slept on. I thought i would fall off the bed. It was squeaky and very unstable. The walls were dirty and the vents had mold. The bathroom wall had a whole that's been patched and the bathroom door as well. The shower was not so cleaned. If i would've gotten my money back, i would. Best western people are working hard to make their money and you need to do better. $179 for a night is not cheap. Was locked out of my room after I put my stuff in there. It took front desk and maintenance more than 20 minutes to get me back in the room. I was moved to another room which had a clogged sink and broken shelf so I couldn't hang any of my clothes for the two days I stood there.

Desk lamp was like having a fast strobe light. Toilet ran until manually stopped. Hard boiled eggs (cold) in shell and sausage only real protein options. Fruit juices were watered down. Not nearly comparable to other hotels. No place to hang clothing—no closet, no rod, no hooks.

First of all this hotel was a godsend! My Mother and I were in town staying at a relative's home. We became involved in a very bad argument and about 7:00 p.m. had to find a hotel. The room was very nice and the beds were awesome! We both slept great. Especially after sleeping four nights on a fold out bed that was not comfortable.. My only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the shower/tub. The water drained very slowly during my shower and was very annoying. They're also was not an exhaust fan. Overall this is definitely a hotel I would go back too.

This is nastier than any trap house you have been in. Mold everywhere. They have BLACK MOLD everywhere. They just bleach the walls and paint over it. They don't correct the issues at all. my bed had bed bugs.i was here for funeral and I just packed up lost money and went into bartow and stayed at a CLEAN HOTEL. Cheaper and cleaner DONT WASTE UR MONEY HERE YOU WILL GET SICK if you stay here. I tried to plug my phone in back of head board the headboard fall off and there was black mold cover the wall behind the headboard. the tubs don't drain the sink leaks. The whole hotel smells musty and nasty. I have copd. I spoke with front desk the apologized. Was very nice but I didn't even stay an hour. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR LIFE DONT GO THERE.

I'm going with 2.5 stars as an overall rating. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The rooms were clean but there is zero ventilation which makes everything extremely damp. The room has an awful mildew smell because of the moisture. Our electronics were covered in condensation and the bed sheets were wet. Although the beds are comfortable, it felt like I was sleeping in a cold wet tent. We inspected the room for bugs and there was no evidence of their presence. The pool is decent and the laundry and fitness facilities were nice as well.

Positive: Nothing al all Negative: Pool was closed.....mid remodel of entire building.... no parking for a truck with car trailer due to shipping containers in parking lot....they gave my reservation away... stunk of obnoxious paint fumes... Negative: ""
