Best Western Mason Inn - Hotel in Mason - 9665 Mason Montgomery Rd, USA

We stayed at the Best Western Mason Inn for two nights while attending the Cincinnati Open tennis tournament. The stay was comfortable, quiet, and hassle-free. The room and public areas were clean and in good repair. The breakfast area attendant kept things clean and well-stocked. Check-in and -out were hassle-free. Parking was free and there seemed to be enough room for all guests. Wi-fi internet was adequate for our needs. The location is convenient to the tennis center and King's Island.

Check in and out was easy, and they had nice staff. Room was small and the phone outlets, mini fridge, tv, and clock were all not working. However, they sent up maintenance to fix all issues. Pool was small but not too cold, and the hot tub was nice. Breakfast was ok and comparable to other hotels, but my husband wished they had biscuits and gravy. I still have not received my $100 deposit back that was added on top of the regular charges, but it’s only been a few days so I’ll keep watching for this. The beds were comfortable, and I liked being close to interstate and King’s Island.

Very clean rooms. The staff is very friendly! The pool and hot tub area was clean and well stocked with towels! The breakfast was delicious and a nice variety of food. You can also make your own waffles! Highly recommend! Will stay there again!

I didn’t see but one housekeeper the entire time. I’m assuming she was the only one, unless you count the young man that I saw possibly helping her. I wanted a shower as soon as we got there and before stepping in I noticed 2 long black hairs stuck to the shower wall. The cleanliness of the sheets was suspect. The iron was missing parts.||Without exaggeration, every single time we used the key card, we had issues of it working. It seemed that they would work once, we would get them re-keyed, and they would work one time before needing re-keyed again. By working I mean that after trying it at least 3-5 times, it would unlock the door. That was probably what was the most aggravating part of our stay. I couldn’t even tell you how many times we got them re-keyed. ||Every evening when we walked passed the front desk and went to the elevator, there was a strong sewage smell in the hallway. This smell is the reason we did not use the pool area, which ran beside that same hallway.||The staff was very nice and helpful except for the manager. He has problems with the listening aspect that is required when working out issues. ||||I will not be staying at any regular Best Western ever again and neither will my cousin. We joked that in the future we may stay at a Best Western Plus because the Plus is for cleanliness…maybe. It’s obvious now to me that I have been neglecting my Hilton Honors reward program for too long.

Would never return. July 2024. Not clean. Wore my shoes in the shower because that felt cleaner. Girl at counter is rude and unhelpful. In response to the comment from the general manager below. Upon driving all day and checking in, I lifted up the sheet in our room and saw speckles of blood along the seams of the mattress (bed bugs). When I informed the woman at the front desk she told me it had been recently renovated and tried to convince me I was not seeing what I saw with my own two eyes. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy and there were weed stems on the box spring. So much just ew. Next time we will sleep in our car or camp. I will never stay at a best western again. Especially this one.

I stayed at this Hotel last week. The staff was friendly, and this location was close to Kings Island. The rooms were very clean, however, the first room I checked into was room 110, there was dozens of ants crawling on the beds and the table between the beds. The friendly lady working the front desk relocated me to room 113, same problem except less ants in this room. I was relocated again, this time to the 3rd floor and there was no issues there. The weather was clear and rooms very clean so I don’t know where the ants came from but due to this reason I rate 4 stars.

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel was clean and very convenient. The breakfast was basic but convenient to have and satisfying. I always appreciate a bath tub to relax during my stay

We just stayed there July 12 and the 13th. Excellent location to lots of restaurants. Excellent location to kings island, which is why we stayed. Yes, it is a smaller hotel, but our room was clean. My only little quirk was the shower curtain didn't stay closed which flooded the bathroom, and the bathroom door didn't shut fully. And NO usb charge ports in our room, in fact, we only had a couple outlets hidden behind the lamps. The pool was warm. Yes, the pool is heavy with chlorine,, but that's normal for indoor "public" pools.... but not as bad as other reviewers put it.. Breakfast was really good. Love the diy malted waffles......
