Best Western Lumberton - Hotel in Lumberton - 201 Jackson Ct, USA

Great room. Extremely clean.. area depressed and lots of construction. Pet friendly. The hotel working hard to keep things in top shape. Some of the best breakfast coffee I've had in a hotel. Highly recommend if staying in that area.|Really great mattresses. Hot shower.

Stayed here on the way home from a vacation. Hotel was fine. Room was nice and clean. Staff was welcoming. Rate was lower than usual for Best Western. Unfortunately the area will keep us from never staying here again or recommending it to others. Guests staying there were very loud and up late hanging out outside. Outside smelled strongly of marijuana and dog pee. Did not feel very safe outside of room. Come to find out that the area is known for high crime including incidents of violent crime. Local Golden Corral was absolutely horrible. Starbucks was out of everything we tried to order. It’s a shame because the hotel itself was nice as most Best Western/Best Western Plus are.

I debated on 3 or 4 stars but I hate to complain. So good first...dog friendly, clean well maintained rooms, good breakfast with a weekly menu, easy on/off highway, friendly staff... Now the negative which was bigger for me than my husband. Really uncomfortable bed and pillows! Rock hard mattress and super small square pillows. A king bed should have KING pillows!! And the walls were paper thin making it worse because the doors face outside, and to top it off we unloaded in the pouring rain. 😕 Super noisy trash truck at 6 am, neighbors alarm went off for 30 min starting at 6 am, someone very noisy in and out slamming car and room doors, roller suitcases across the floor... I guess I am just a light sleeper. 😒 I heard everything!

The staff at the Best Western Lumberton Hotel, where friendly and helpful and ask if we needed any thing. The rooms where clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good with several options from eggs to ceral. All and al it was a nice stay.

The room was nice spacious check in etc was quick and ok, The place is comfortable etc and you have a Walmart just behind. The staff in the morning well the guy was more interested in smoking and refused to let anyone into the lobby before 6am, Breakfast was bad it's funny they have the menu written up as I needed to get going I noticed our great breakfast potatoes well I will have something when I went down and looked it was just scrambled egg bacon & sausage which I didn't want asked about the breakfast potatoes that comes out later.

We were driving back home and decided to stay at best western Lumberton. This hotel was very clean, plenty parking and no carpet which I love. There are many restaurants at close proximity and we loved the wing company. There is even a Walmart right next to the hotel in case you forget something. The rooms were completely remodeled, spacious, had a microwave and fridge. The TV had many channels to choose from. The bed was very comfortable and had a good night sleep. The water was hot and had good pressure. This hotel is pet friendly and I can tell they love pets because the lady at the counter wanted to hold my puppy. They charge a $20 fee. They even have doggy bags and disposal units in case you forget. They have grass around it so You can take your dog out without having to leave the property. The pool area is nice, modern and clean. The breakfast area was very clean and had an attendant at all times. The breakfast was surprisingly good and had a few options for people who need to stay away from gluten. Maybe might want to consider corn cereal and bread for customers that are gluten intolerant and to add non slip stickers to the bathtub for safety. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again. 😃

Our room was spotless and the bathroom was like new. Practically in Walmart's parking lot, so it is a busy area but our room was quiet. I heard sirens during the night but nothing else. ||Make sure to keep the door locked to prevent housekeeping from entering in the morning. I find it unacceptable that they open a door more then an hour before checkout but that's what happened to us. Poor rating for service is due to this.||Some outside areas need more frequent cleaning but it was generally okay.

Friendly check in and in the morning there was a "no vacancy" sign on the front doors. This was the only hotel in 25 days on the road that offered a free newspaper and boy, was that a welcome treat! Busy roads but is close to some restaurants and Wal-Mart so location is convenient and easy to find. We were on the second floor, outside entrance, no elevator. Comfy and clean room. Ours had a sofa in the room too. There was a lack of electrical outlets and a lack of hot water for bathing. Internet speed was good and TV choices were fine. We had a quiet sleep. Breakfast was excellent! Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bread products, waffles, yogurt, coffee/juice/tea/milk/hot chocolate etc and lots of extra-add-ins for your toast and coffee and yogurt. Breakfast area was clean and topped up by a staff who was working very hard. On a regular Friday night in mid March 2024, the room was about $135 after taxes
