Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel - Featured Reviews (851)
We stayed here after visiting Universal. The front desk employee was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and hotel was quiet. Not in the best surrounding area, but understandable as it is right off the freeway. Overall it was a good stay.
The service and breakfast staff were exceptional! The area was convenient to the ferry to Catalina Island. However there is a homeless population right next door! The property is in desperate need of a face-lift! Terribly outdated inside and out! The rugs throughout the hotel are very old and in spots worn down where you can see the floor. We don't know we would stay again! Please update this hotel!!
Hotel is fine. The problem is the location. There is a huge homeless population nearby. That limits a lot of the amenities that the property can offer. There is no outdoor seating for cigar or cigarette smokers and the pool seating area is locked after 10 pm. Will not be returning. If I was paying $50 per night I wouldn't be complaining. But for 3 times that price, my expectations escalate. Never again. Also getting into and out of the property is a nightmare

Cheapest that we could find in the area with breakfast. Smelled a bit moldy. The fan was blowing on our floor to remove moisture. AC unit wasnt the best at night. The beds were comfy and good water pressure in the shower. Hot tub was also a bonus. Would still probably seek out another place in the future.
Terrible experience. We stayed here in Aug 2024. I woke up in the middle of the night and found 10+ cockroaches in our room. (On the night stand, the walls, the floors, the bathroom etc.) It was absolutely disgusting and the front desk seemed quite unbothered (and clearly aware) of the problem. They did offer us another room, but obviously we declined as I'm positive there are cockroaches in all of the rooms based on seeing so many in ours in such a short period of time.
We were in town to settle the affairs of an elderly relative. On an 'unexpected trip', we we very grateful for the value that this hotel provided. We needed to get back and forth from Torrance each day for a week. The rapid access to the 110 and PCH made this easy. The reviews about safety and noise on here are correct, it is at the crossroads of the 110 and PCH, so traffic noise is an issue at all hours. There are a number of encampments in the area and questionable individuals wandering about. I would not call the area walkable, but the hotel itself felt safe. Plenty of parking. Breakfast as decent as well.
It was a fine, surprising clean, hotel in a convenient location if you’re headed to either long beach or redondo beach like we were. Be forewarned tho, if you are a light sleeper like me, bring ear plugs. Its loud. Like the walls are made of paper? Literally every thing can be heard. Everything.

There is this amazing worker here. Vanessa is her name. She is beyond amazing. She has helped myself and my children many times. My little ones played there making slime to events in their gym. Always a great welcoming crew.
Tend to go early mornings, my daughter enjoys the newly built playground, she to play around with out a worry also my dog is able to run freely with out people being around. (I got a rottweiler)
I went here to get some tea, and I honestly thought I wasn't going to get much when I was at the store looking through their menu. For god's sake they put chocolate under green tea and a green tea blend under oolong. Not to say much of their menu are
