Best Western Lakewood - Hotel in Lakewood - 6125 Motor Ave SW, USA

Very pleased with our stay at this motel. Very clean and wonderful staff. This motel is located in a some what quiet area so we did not experience any road activity noise that you sometimes get from a motel/hotel located off the highway. Our room was large and up to date. No stains or damage. It was also a great value being in Lakewood and far enough removed from Seattle.

Plenty of close parking, clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, nice pillows, nice hot buffet breakfast that was well managed and restocked. Front desk and breakfast staff all very friendly and helpful. Hotel has only outside entrances/stairs and no elevator for the upper level. We chose ground floor room, parked right by our room's entrance. The downside: unfortunately the guests upstairs were walking loudly around from midnight until 5:30am, might partly be due to the construction of the building. (We didn't complain, we were tired, was afraid it would just get worse...I put a comfy pillow over my ear to muffle the pounding.) So if you can climb the stairs with your luggage and want quiet, choose an upstairs room.

This is an older property that has been decently renovated. It's located within a short drive of shopping and restaurants and only five minutes from I-5. There was nothing remarkable about this hotel, nor anything particularly lacking. The price we paid was no bargain by our standards, but was apparently in line with regional costs.

We have stayed in Best Western hotels for over 30 years when we travel or my husband has a job out of town. They usually deliver in nice rooms, customer service, food, and billing and points rewards. Find a different hotel. Every single thing I mentioned above was missing from this hotel. It was a nightmare . I won't throw any employees under the bus because I feel it's a lack of training on the hotels part, but this really was not a good stay. I love Best Western hotels and love giving good reviews. The amount of money we spent on this hotel should have resulted in better customer service and things ran more smoothly. I'm still dealing with billing issues and points not being added to our account for the stay. Sorry Best Western, this is a fail!

Great place to stay if you like to snuggle spiders. When we first arrived there was a monster of a spider on the wall with lots of webs in the corner. 2 more in the bathtub and one in the toilet. They're very welcome in these rooms by their private entrance through the half inch gap at the bottom of the door. Had to use 1 of 2 towels (for a family of 3) to block that off. And the doors!! Oof the doors.. when I went to get more towels, my key didn't work. Went to office and had it reprogrammed, still didn't work. Went back, programmed 3 more. None of them worked. Went back, 2 more programmed and finally worked... For a little. After going to the pool, one of them stopped working... Our neighbors were also super creepy with their door usually open, constantly watching us... Crazy loud, baby in the street a lot, all bad. One .75oz shampoo/conditioner for 3 humans also not sufficient. Located behind an abandoned bagel shop. Looks condemned. Recommendation: stay somewhere else. Only reason I didn't get super grumpy: lady at the front desk was super nice.

As I opened the door to my room, it felt like opening an oven door. The AC wasn't on, (and it actually felt like the heater had been), even though the reservation had been in place for at least a week. The front door was partially off the hinge and therefore didn't feel secure. One of the windows was not latched, and there was an adjoining room door which was also unlocked. While I appreciate the front desk person giving me a "quiet" room, it was at the back of the property where only a few construction trucks were parked, (seemed to be staying in the hotel), no one else around. I did not feel safe in this room and after about 30 minutes of having the AC on while trying to locate a new hotel, it wasn't any cooler in the room. I did try calling the front desk, however, the number listed went unanswered, so I called the corporate number to let them know I would not be staying. I followed up the next day with a different front desk person who told me they would speak to the manager and the owner about possible refund, however no phone call was returned and no refund. This hotel cost about the same as much nicer, safer hotels I would normally stay at. Will not return.

Je n’ai jamais vu un endroit aussi détestable !|D’abord ce n’est pas un hôtel mais un motel.|Chambre limites en propreté. Salle de bains très vieillotte.|Système de fermeture des portes laissant à demeurer.|Piscine froide avec des insectes morts et des feuilles d’arbustes.|À 1 h 30 du matin des personnes parlaient devant notre porte comme en plein jour et à 4 h du matin une moto près de notre chambre a démarré à grand renfort de pétarades et cela a duré un bon 1/4 d’heure.|Le comble : le petit déjeuner ! Arrivés 35 mns avant l’heure de fermeture il n’y avait plus ni saucisses, ni pommes de terre alors que c’étaient les seuls plats chauds du buffet(voir mes photos).|Réponse de l’employée : vous n’avez qu’à faire des gaufres ! Très élégant, d’autant plus que l’étui pour faire les gaufres était vide.|Idem pour les jus de fruits : vides.|Restaient deux fruits pas très frais.|J’ai donc pris deux toasts.|Eau pour le thé froide, donc pas bu.|A presque 200 $ la nuit on pouvait s’attendre à mieux. 100 $ serait largement suffisant.|Nous séjournons parfois dans des best western mais c’est incomparable.|Notre sentiment est que personne ne veut travailler, de la réception,aux cuisines en passant par l’homme à tout faire.|Après tout peut être ont ils raison : le motel est complet sur plusieurs jours.|Je vais cependant alerter best western, les photos ne correspondant pas du tout à la réalité.

The hotel was in a rough area of town with lots of homeless and failing businesses. The front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was really nice with lots of choices like eggs, sausage, bagels, sweet muffins, waffles, coffee, juice, fruit, and yogurt. The room was very spacious with lots of TV channels.
