Best Western Jacksonville Inn - Hotel in Jacksonville - 1600 John Harden Dr, USA

Was visiting my son, who lives on the Air Force Base and wanted something close and needed a super affordable place to stay. For the price I paid, $70ish a night, I would definitely stay again. Everything was clean and in very good working order. Again for the price the breakfast that was served was a pleasant surprise. They may have been out of a few things at breakfast, but still had some good choices. I know, I’m going to spell her name wrong, but the lady that oversaw breakfast was so welcoming and pleasant. I believe her name was Pia

Lady at the desk was very nice. But this hotel is horrible. It showed an 8.2 on the website for guest satisfaction. What a joke. Building looks good from the outside. But the room smelled of mildew the walls and bathroom were awful I would t want to go to the bathroom there. Just in disrepair. The pool was closed and looked like a green murky swamp. Horrible experience. I walked next door to quality inn and rented a room for $5 less. I could not have slept in that room with the god awful smell. A couple of the rooms windows were busted out. What a mess.

So I have a 2 year old and it was 10:15, not even close to check out time cuz I always get late check out anyways which is 12 or 2:00 but they took it upon themselves to open my door, I'm assuming to try to wake me up so I can leave, which is rude. But the problem with this is I have a 2 year old and they left the door wide open and I'm asleep my two year old is asleep and I didn't know that the door was wide open. I feel like that should be illegal or something I'm sure you all see the problem here. I will not be going back to the hotel. They put my baby girl in danger because I literally woke up with that Mom instinct as soon as she was about to take her first step over the threshold of that door... I'm really pissed off about it but other than the cleaning people or housekeeping people doing that and put my child in danger the room was beautiful the carpet was beautiful the jet tub was amazing the bed was very comfortable there were no stains on anything, there was a separate space for work and a separate space for relaxing ... Fluffy pillows !!! And the breakfast is the best breakfast hotel breakfast that you will find in this area in Jacksonville in Cabot in Sherwood .mmm And I really loved everything about it and I really hate that that happened with the door thing because I would have liked to come back.

The employees at this Best Western are exceptional! Everyone is very courteous and helpful. They go above and beyond in providing first rate customer service.

Rooms Decent for a 2 star hotel. Beware it is a lot of construction 🚧 at that location be careful with your car definitely drive very slow

Friendly Front Desk Person, Clean room, bathroom and if you are like me what to know if there is new bath towels I would say like new but no stains same with the bed sheets. Yoko the Breakfast lady super friendly, wonderful breakfast menu, on Monday there was another lady sorry I didn't catch her name super friendly Close to Air Force Base. we didn't have a pet but there is a sign that says Pet Friendly place. I would stay here again. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a clean and friendly place that needs to be close to base. I did get to met the Manager when I check out on Monday that was Christmas Morning 2023.

Stayed one night. The highway construction is a little inconvenient and the room had some strange smells upon first walking in. Otherwise everything was clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel. Nice rooms, good breakfast, good water pressure in the shower, great service.
