Best Western I-5 Inn & Suites - Featured Reviews (649)
I picked this Best Western due to it having a Jacuzzi and when we got there, it was warm. A little disappointed that I paid this amount of money and wasn’t able to use this service for therapeutic reasons. The room also smelt like chlorine or the pool and Jacuzzi was. Our room we stayed in need some upgrades. The breakfast buffet could use some healthier choices, fresher food.
This is a convenient Best Western by I-5 in Lodi. Good breakfast except for the scrambled eggs but the entire facility was dingy, poorly lit, and dirty. The elevator and hallways were a disgrace: Peeling paint, dirty floors, water stained wallpaper, carpeting from the 1990s, a musty odor in the air. The worst part is the congregation of street people in the parking lot at night where I was accosted by panhandlers...likely illegal aliens. If you are looking for a pleasant, clean hotel, keep going. Security is not good here.
Hard to understand the gal at the front desk. We have white hair but there were several black hairs on the floor in our room. The bed was poor, not up to hotel standards. The pillows were lumpy. No ice anywhere. The day staff didn’t know anything. The breakfast was poor and the waffle batter was rancid. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We stayed here 6 months ago and it was excellent. New owners are terrible. the rate is way too high for what you get.
Right on I-5 so convenient. In an area with multiple gas stations and a Starbucks. The room was large and comfortable. The AC was on, so the room was very pleasant. Quite even though it’s right on the interstate.
Good comfortable hotel next to the 5 Interstate. We had a corner room that overlooked the main street off the freeway. Even on the 3rd floor it was very noisy with trucks and loud motorcycles! Be sure to get a room on the side away from Hwy 12. Otherwise I recommend.
Very noisy traffic. Building is old and not sound limiting. Indoor pool is a joke 4ft wide and 10 ft long. Breakfast was minimal at best in tiny room. No dogs but first thing on 3rd floor was a dog that was definitely not a "service dog". Room was remodeled but smelled of dog and strange odor.
Worn out bed. Bad smell, like sweat. Floor had dirt on it. Reduced halls sizes. Felt like a miniature hotel, all the spaces were smaller than a regular Best Western.
It is 90 degrees outside and the inside of the hallway feels like 110degrees. Walking in our room feels the same as the hallway. We turn on the AC to cool down the room. We bare through over an hour and it gets a little cooler but no where near acceptable. As we were walking up the stairs it got hotter and hotter the higher we got. We call the front desk to ask them for a room on the first floor because it is SOO fricken hot and he says we are 10 mins past the limit of requesting a different room. We ask him to come up and check our room and he keeps saying that that we are too late. There was people in the hallway complaining about the same thing. We were going to stay at microtel and decided to pay the extra to stay here thinking it would be nicer. Big mistake. Microtel definitely a better choice.. Update... After going downstairs and talking directly to him. We asked him if he could come upstairs and check our room..he ended up giving us a room on the second floor which actually had ac the hallway which makes a HUGE difference. DONT STAY ON THE 3RD FLOOR. 2nd floor is way better.
Safe location and off the highway. We were greeted by staff when checking in and felt welcomed. Breakfast gal stayed on top of things! We were in town for a funeral and came back late and wanted to swim and the desk personnel allowed us in after h
Located close to Highway 99, so it's convenient to get to places to and from here. Next to gas station, and fast food restaurants. The workers are helpful & kind. The rooms are a little bit outdated, so don't expect a nicely decorated room. The A

Tricia was an excellent host from start to finish. Room was perfectly clean. The home was warm and cozy inside and out. Breakfast was 5 stars. Cant wait to stay again.
I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Nice park with plenty of shaded picnic areas. Of course, there's the lake and river. Can't forget about the bike/walk trial. Perfect to take morning walks.
The best gym in Northern California. Has every piece of equipment that you need and the staff along with members are all very polite. A comfortable place to workout. Plus a basketball court and sauna!
