Best Western Hiram Inn & Suites - Hotel in Hiram - 1340 Pace Rd, USA

This place took us in last minute, because the hotel we had booked at looked more like a crack house. So we called this place up and they were able to get use booked in immediately which was a BIG life saver for our already ruined vacation! The facilities are clean, the landscaping is well done and tasteful. They were very friendly at the front counter. We had my sister in-law and nephew staying with us, so we asked for some extra towels and shampoo and conditioner. They provided all of these immediately. We were able to cook up some left overs in the room using the microwave oven and some paper plates. We discovered that a previous guest of the same room had also eaten in the room and they were not very tidy with their food. Neither did the housekeeping manage to clean up some of the food as there were some dried up Asian rice noodles on the floor, see the picture. The AC keeps kicking on and it is very loud, but I suppose this is to be expected in the south. I did have a little hard time sleeping because of all the noise, but it wasn't just the AC. Turns out my sister in-law was also snoring loudly. Nothing the hotel could have done about that. In any event, the breakfast was pretty average hotel breakfast. Not much of a fruit bar, but at least they didn't have that nasty big bowl of fruit salad soup and syrup. Apparently some of the guests were having issues with their pancake batter dispenser, although I didn't use that. When getting ready to head out, my wife was using the hair dryer and it sounded like a lawn mower! Then the hair drier sparked and a few seconds later the whole room smelled like a fire. I informed the front desk and a new larger hair drier was provided promptly! So this is good that the hotel staff responded quickly and appropriately. A maintenance technician came to the room to look at the hair dryer situation before we were even out of the room. Checkout was fast, easy and convenient. I'd give the hotel a 9/10. This is a good place to stay, it's not the Ritz Carlton, but then again we were not here to bask in luxury. We just wanted to survive the rest of our family vacation at this point!

Traveling with small children you look for a few things to make the trip a little easier.... Check in was not an issue - the room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The carpet was wet by the AC unit and the floor in the bathroom - I'm not sure what was in the grout lines - It was the bathroom - based on the color could have been a couple of things, I put towels down and tried not to thing about it. The in room laminated information sheet (see picture ) clearly shows that breakfast is from 6:30-9:30. Great ! The following morning I get the 3 children 5,5,4 year olds ready and we go to get something to eat it is 8:30. When we get to the breakfast area nearly all the food is gone. I went to the desk to ask if they would be putting out any more eggs, sausage and waffle mix the individual at the counter very curtly says "no it closed at 8:30" I replied "Oh I thought it was 9:30" I go back over and try to get something for them to eat real quick and as I am trying to get a small muffin for my granddaughter this person takes the ENTIRE TRAY of food to the back, then proceeds to shut everything off and take it to the back. It is not like an entire football team is eating !! 3 small children! Another customer is just shocked at what is happening and comments to me about it. Wanting to make sure that I had not got the times wrong I double checked when we got back to the room. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! RUDE IS A UNDERSTATEMENT! I did go back to the front with the room flyer and inform them that they may want to update their flyer and tell her how rude she was for taking up the food early especially when I was trying to feed the kids.

I really enjoyed my stay there the rooms wete clean and comfortable the food was great the service was extra ordinary everyone was helpful and went above and beyond for me and my family. The next time we go on vacation this is the only hotel I will ever stay at. Love the cleaniness the great service and the environment in general the kids had a ball. Great place to stay with the family or on business.

This property falls into the economy category for me. Hotel is dated yet clean. Staff is attentive and friendly. Breakfast was very limited and had a short 2 hour window (630 to 830). Pool and gym were so poor didn't use either. Paid $156/night with taxes. I wouldn't expect to pay more than $100/night for a property like this. I travel a lot for work and pleasure, this property didn't stand up to others that I pay the same price.

I woke up to being bitten by bed bugs. I immediately contacted the front desk to inform them of the bed bugs, and I checked out. As extra precaution I washed all of my belongings before putting them in my vehicle to prevent from transporting bed bugs to my home. When I informed the receptionist about the bed bugs, he did offer me another room, but I was too traumatized and slept in my car instead. I spent $7.50 to wash and dry my clothings. Sad…nice staff..but lots of issues…electrical outlet not working…pillows lumpy…faucet in bathroom leaked. Breakfast ok but promptly over at 8:30am…no food put out after about 8:15am. Had to move from first room as TV not watchable. First night I had to dust places in the room - had to get coffee, do not disturb sign, shampoo. Definitely not what we think of as Best Western, especially at over $90 a night!

I stayed there for 2 nights for $256. They charged my card 2 more times equal in the amount of $512, and they are saying that they cannot give me my money back because they don't have it But it is still saying pending. In my account that is all the money that I have for me and my family to move out of hotels. Now we are sleeping in the car can someone please help me I don't know what to do

Excellent hotel! The beds were very clean and the shower too. The tap water gets extremely cloudy when hot but the breakfast was very nice. Room included a microwave, mini fridge, desk, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, ice machine, & coffee machine.
