The location was convenient. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. The room and the building was clean. The hotel was quiet. There was an outdoor swimming pool but we didn’t use it. There was a complimentary breakfast at the attached restaurant. The breakfast was decent but my eggs were undercooked. The hotel is older and outdated but it is clean and quiet and that is what we were looking for.
Like many BW, decor seems stuck in the 1980's. Beds good, easy foot access to food. On site restaurant/bar. Full breakfast NOT a buffet, and limited offerings included with room. Access is a bit odd, but plentiful parking.
Great place to stay. Love their breakfast! Room was clean and comfortable. We stay there when visiting my parents. Enjoy the breakfast which you can order from several different options and it is made within a few minutes and served nice and hot!!
My family had a pleasant stay over the Christmas holiday. We picked this hotel over others in the area for several reasons: the complimentary breakfast is served in the restaurant, it has a hot tub, and there are queen beds, not doubles. It met our expectations. There are two bookstores, a Walgreens, and several other shops within walking distance.
Rooms are very dirty, obvious mold in the shower/tub, carpets are absolutely filthy, room surfaces are covered in dust. Door handles and locks are falling apart; room safety is a concern. Housekeeping is not available unless requested a day in advance. Furniture, bedding and towels are worn out. Did not try the pool or 24 hour fitness room.. The onsite restaurant and bar is popular with locals, food is okay. Hotel breakfast and WiFi are the only bright spots. This property is in desperate of an overhaul. Do not recommend staying here.
The location was well set and nice minus a few older amenities, an oily film on the jacuzzi, leaky shower, broken drawers. Some of the staff have been very nice and have gone out of their way to be accommodating. However, others are aggressively mediocre at best with their customer service. For example: The lady working at the table on Friday morning 11/24/23 was not up at the counter, so we rang the bell. No one came, so we rang it again. The woman came out with a disgruntled look on her face as if we were bothering her. Instead of saying good morning or how can I help you, she responded with “you only need to ring the bell once!”. Our entire interaction with this woman seemed hostile and unwelcome. I understand people have bad days, but that was intentionally bad service. Additionally, the restaurant attached was slow, and while people were nice, the toast that I waited 50 minutes for was cold. I could have gone to a local gas station to get quicker service and warmer food. Everyone at my table made comments of the slow service, missing items from the meal, or cold food. They also dropped one of our plates and didn’t tell us so made some us wait even longer for food. Some of my party didn’t even get their scrambled eggs before we made the decision to just leave. Not worth my time, nor Best Westerns reputation.
We were visiting relatives in the area so we checked into this Best Western Green Valley inn hotel. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of choices in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area. This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover! It smells old and musty upon walking in and needs a new, fresh coat of paint, plaster and wood moulding. The pool is literally emerald green from so much algae. Believe it or not, an employee said that the pool is open. There are no signs in the hotel or at the the pool saying that it’s closed, and no one in their right mind would swim in that cesspool. The county should shut it down. I have attached a few photos of the pool, walls, carpet, and shower tiles. The carpet is filthy and looks like it has been years since it has been changed or even seen a carpet cleaning machine, and in several places the carpet is threadbare. Our shower also has black mold growing on the tiles. Best Western should be ashamed to charge the prices that they are for this sub par hotel. The only thing positive I can say about this place is that Joanna, the server in the adjacent restaurant, The 19th Hole, was very pleasant and our eggs, pancakes, bacon and sourdough toast were tasty and cooked to our liking every morning.
We stopped by for one night 🌙 ✨️, arriving around 11 p.m. after a long car journey. Asked for water upon arriving, they ran out of bottle water. There was no mention of the water fountain or the drink station down the hall. For someone who was truly thirsty, any of those options would have been fine. Trying to wind down in the room, I turn on the TV. It turns on but does not connect to the cable. Of course, we called the front desk and tried several things to rectify this. It didn't work, and no hotel handyman was available that late. I went straight to bed. Woke up at 5 am ready for a hot shower. Turn the shower handle, and it falls off!!! Seriously... What to do? It's too early for a hotel handyman. I place the shower handle over the screw and use some force to turn the screw. Woo hoo!! Success! Shower is on🚿. Hotel presets maximum water temperature. It's not too hot, but one doesn't feel cold when showering either. Told front desk during breakfast, and they took note of the repairs so the next guest wouldn't experience what we did. Breakfast was fine. Coffee was not strong enough for my taste. After breakfast was when I spotted the water fountain and hot water dispenser. Wish I would have seen these the night before. Took a nice walk around the neighborhood. Hotel staff mentioned that most city residents are retirees.

Absolutely the best tacos in all of southern Arizona! My usual favorite is the Barbacoa taco, and let me tell you, the shredded beef is so flavorful and juicy that they generously wrap it in two tortillas for you. But it doesnât stop there. The al
The best hidden gem! The gardeners have real pride and it shows! Nice shaded walking paths, lots of seating and relaxing areas. Water fountain for people and dogs. They actually sell plants and soil. Phenomenal place, maybe my current favorite place
A small venue. Where every seat is great. There is something for everyone, the offerings are vast and excellent. An inexpensive night out without having to drive to the city
First of all, best latte ever! It's abundantly clear why their coffee has won awards. The food was good but my favorite part of this restaurant was the atmosphere. Moqah is family owned and run with the most friendly and attentive owner I've ever had
Best Pizza We Found in the Green Valley Area By the time I wrote this review, we'd been there 2 more times. It's a little hard to find, in an end unit and faces Trader Ln. I don't think they've been open too long as everything is still like new. Mode
A wonderfully historic place preserved by a forward thinking Pima county. Old buildings have been restored to their former glory with a few insides being accessible. Highly recommend taking one of the guided tours. The ranch has a long and interestin
We needed a banquet hall to have a celebration of life reception for after my brother's services. I called and spoke with Tom. He was able to accommodate us in such short notice and went above and beyond. His kind demeanor and willingness to help mad
Attended a very interesting presentation about the wild life here in Southern Arizona. Nice facility. Friendly folks. Got to talk to a Master Gardener too.
