Best Western Green Tree Inn - Hotel in Clarksville - 1425 Broadway St, USA

I was initially nervous based on the other reviews but my stay ended up being great. My room was clean, with comfortable beds, working AC, microwave, fridge, & WiFi. I didn't experience the musty smell that others mentioned. The front desk was friendly and efficient and even offered free coffee and tea in the afternoon. It was quiet. There's a Golden Corral buffet restaurant next door which I walked to and enjoyed. Neighborhood seemed fine.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was what I would call efficient but not luxurious. Perfect for my short overnight stay. The desk clerk was very friendly but professional. It was a good value. Since characters are counted for this review, I needed to add this sentence to comply.

This was a super affordable place to stay and they are pet friendly with a very modest fee. Honestly I was not expecting much due to the low rates but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were super friendly. The first room I was put in had a deadbolt that didnt completely turn and lock. I called the front desk and was promptly moved to the room next to it and was told a work order was already put in by the time I got my new room key. She just kept apologizing and never made me feel bad for asking for another room. So if you just want a simple room to rest your head without breaking the bank I would highly recommend!

I travel for business well over one hundred nights a year and stay in hotels all over the US and Canada. Best Western is one of the brands that I sometimes choose for a one or two-night stay. The Louisville area can be quite expensive at certain times of the year so many of us have no choice but to stay across the river in Jeffersonville or Clarksville. I stayed at this Best Western location for two nights and I have to say this hotel or motel needs a serious update. I fully commend the staff for keeping this property as clean as they can, the front desk staff for being as accommodating as they can and housekeeping for keeping the rooms as clean as they can. My room was on the outer perimeter which has only one floor. My room was as clean as it could be however the room was musty, the carpet was long overdue for replacement, the heating/AC unit was noisy as heck, the furniture was outdated and there were bugs in my room. The good news is that the bed was comfortable and the wifi signal was great. ||The fitness room was small and cramped with older equipment with some needing repair or replacement. The room is small and cramped and has questionable cooling even at night in the summer. The room has a water cooler and disinfectant spray to wipe before and after you use the equipment. I was able to do a cardio workout on the elliptical. The room and equipment need an update. Breakfast was served with a wide array of hot and cold choices, pastries, bread and a little fresh fruit. The Breakfast staff did their best to keep everything replenished as the room was full of people during the times I ate there. The property has an outdoor pool and I saw many people using it. This is someplace you stay if you want to risk it or need a budget-friendly hotel. Overall I have stayed in countless Best Wewsterns and this one is in the worst shape I've seen in a long time.

Pricy for the rooms, $90 for a king with a AAA discount. Room was clean but very dark. Lamps didn’t brighten the room very well. One wall that ran the length of the room a very dark color. Dark furniture on the other wall. Bedding looked worn out. Lots of activity late at night outside. Person at the front desk was very nice and professional. I really thought it would be nicer for the money. Outside of the building was very cute.

Everything about our stay here was great except for the fact that our A/C system's digital pad was not working properly. So I had to guess what temperature I had just set it to. The staff maybe would have fixed it if I complained but we were too tired to do anything other than dropping like a stone on the bed and get some much deserved rest.

You get what you pay for. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. It was comfortable. The breakfast was tasteless. As I was heading to the front desk to check out, the attendant was walking out the front door to have a cigarette and talk on her cell phone. I stepped out before she lit the cigarette and said that I wanted to check out and I was told that I had to wait. I waited for almost 10 minutes for her to come back in just to get my receipt. Morning front desk was horrible the cleaning was good. The Best Western was the building next door but is now a Choice Hotel. I learned that the Green Tree is the budget version of Best Western. I was expecting that I had reserved a room at the hotel next door. I had stayed there previously and liked it very much. I won't stay at this hotel again just due to the lack of service when I wanted to check out and get on the road.

This place is by all means the most unprofessional hotel that I've ever stayed at kept my $150 deposit said I smoked in the room when I absolutely did not talk to a few other people that said they kept their deposit as well. When I went to go talk to the owner he had or was unavailable to talk to me so his wife spoke with me and when I explained to her that was the only money I have she Shrugged her shoulders at me and the front desk girl Michaela with a smirk on her face thinking it was funny that these people keep my every last penny.
