Best Western Gallup West - Hotel in Gallup - 111 Twin Buttes Rd, USA

If I could I'd definitely give it a no stars 😒 Me and my boyfriend came over to New Mexico to visit my family for graduation and I absolutely don't like how the staffs are especially the house keepers. I myself has been a housekeeper and manager at my old job. The way they clean is disgusting, they don't mop the floors nor give clean beddings. I found blood stains on the sheet as well as the pillow case just because they do clean your room next day doesn't mean they changed the sheets. They used the same sheets, I've told the house keeper to clean it more professional and not use the same sheets but instead she ONLY changed the top not the blanket, sheets nor the pillows. All she did was take the hair off the bed like it suppose to be cleaned. The room lamps was dusty and behind the TV, I expected a clean room with the price I paid. Not only that but they don't restock our toiletries like they didn't leave us with toilet paper, every room has to have at least 2-3 paper for stay overs. As it was about to be my last night stay I found not 1 but 2 cockroaches. I made a complaint the next morning obviously they'd kick us because we had multiple complaints. I don't know if it was the manager or the boss that my boyfriend spoke to but they didn't care and we had it recorded of their response which disappoints me. I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS HOTEL EVER!!! I hope you travelers stay at a better place than this

The Hotel is a always clean and the staff is very friendly. A few years ago, when I first stayed at this hotel, I got a text when I got to my room to welcome me and to give me a direct line to the front desk on my phone. I so appreciate that. This visit I got a call from the front desk to make sure everything was to my liking. That's great customer service.

Stayed at the "downtown " BW location previous month.|It is a touch more upscale than this location, especially the breakfast.|Downtown is walking distance to EL Rancho restaurant which was good one time only experience. |This BW is way out of town and nothing walkable But it is very safe feeling vs. downtown. |Downtown is a no pet BW which is a plus for us. This BW does allow pets. We stay on top floor to be away from dogs.|Downtown is busier and higher priced and you should make a reservation.|Both are fine to stay at. hope this review will help you decide which one best suits your needs.

So I am a little conflicted about this review. We were able to check in with no issue, our room on first glance was not bad. The bathroom was where I had the issue, it was dated and there was some red stuff on the floor and the bathtub. It was gross!! I took a picture of it and took it to the front desk. The clerk was very nice and immediately moved us to another room!! She was amazing. The other room had a clean smell as soon as we opened the door. It was much cleaner. The major issues are that the bathrooms are soooo dated!! The paint pealing up on the tubs (both of them), the spout in the tub was crooked and the shower head went everywhere. The pool was cloudy and almost green, but we were there by the end of the day and it was an indoor pool. So for the price point, it was what it was. I won't stay here again, but I just want to point out the staff was very helpful. The rooms just need help.

Nice, quiet, clean hotel just off the interstate. Room size was adequate, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, also. Price was affordable. No issues or complaints. Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through Gallup.

The facility is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is easy to get to, right off the highway, but it is quite west of the city center. This means it is quiet, but not a lot of restaurant or other amenities nearby. But would still definitely return.

Great location. Right off Hwy 40 and a short drive to downtown Gallup. Continental breakfast is included with your stay. The staff is professional and helpful. Overall a good stay. The only slight negative thing, all though is a great location, the entrance off Route 66 isn't well makes.

Positive: Location was easy to access. Price was reasonable. Negative: Parking lot was small and crowded, so it was a long walk back to the hotel. Electric vehicle chargers only supported Tesla connector. Room was clean enough, but still had signs of previous occupant. Shower curtain was stained with what looked like blood.
