Best Western Eunice - Hotel in Eunice - 1531 W Laurel Ave, USA

We arrived at The Best Western in Eunice LA after a long disappointing day. We were||Delighted to see the clean, sparkling swimming pool. We were waited on promptly and given our keycards. The hotel service was up to par. The breakfast was refreshingly different and quite delicious. We even were able to swim a little more before checkout !!! Definitely recommended

Just got into room. Dirty. Killed 3 flies. Moth on wall. Dead bugs on floor. Hair in the fridge; door shelf broken. Tub only partially cleaned. Fecal smear on toilet seat. For over $125/night including taxes, I expect far better. Would leave but no other options in town.

The first room had a major water leak in the shower and smelt musty and moldy. They switch are room out for a broken hot tub, nasty smoke smell, dirty and just plain nasty room. Tv was smaller than my tv in college 25 years ago! At least the clerk tried to help but was out of his hands. Hair was left in several places in both rooms. Walls dirty. Just so suprised that we stayed in. BW in Oakdale, La the night before and was hamds down 10 times better. I will not be staying at another BW again unless they can offer me a much better room in the future and reimburse me for my horrible experience in EUNICE, LA

Better than most. ||Pros: friendly front desk, central location||Cons: dated, felt unsecure, firecrackers going off in the area all night prevented us from actually getting any sleep-not the hotel's fault but really awful, breakfast was lacking

One of the worst hotel stays I've had. While check in was quick, and the person at the counter was friendly enough they didn't really seem to be overly excited that someone was checking in. With that being said their demeanor was a ray of sunshine in comparison to room. Dark, dingy, and damp. While I understand it's a humid area I don't think the entire room needed to feel like it had been sprayed down with a mister before we arrive. The mirrors were all crooked, patched holes in the walls, and the lock on the room door was about to fall off. All in all, I can't believe the Best Western allows it to have it's name attached to this "hotel" and seriously makes me question booking Best Western in the future. If there is a next stay, take pride in the name that is Best Western. This specific hotel is getting the nickname of "Worst Western" until someone takes some care to make this place not a damp dump.

The noise and people lurking around rooms throughout the night, noise all day long from the upstairs room and sleep disturbance from loud young men lurking outside my room until i got up and looked through the window which apparently caused them to leave the premises

When I arrived, it took some time to get the keys (the new lady at the reception is not to blame). But then it turned out that the room was not ready, it looked like the last guest just left. And housekeeping folks were not on site anymore. It again took some time until the manager arrived and assigned me an alternate room, which was ok for two nights. Minimalistic breakfast.

Very friendly staff, clean room, quiet area, and felt safe.
