Needed a stop overnight on my way further north. Love Eagle River so decided that would be the spot. Hotel was great with well update rooms, comfy bed, nice fridge etc. in room. Pool and hot tub were sizable, and open all hours without being noisy. Breakfast was more hearty and plentiful than some hotels. Guest service staff were incredibly kind and on top of things. My only reason for 4 star for location, is I would have liked someplace walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. It’s not far, but a few miles and on the state highway.
We had 4 adults staying in one room and the suite with 2 king beds was perfect ... so comfortable! There was also a couch for added comfort and seating option. The entire staff was awesome! Great breakfast, HOT coffee, relaxing hot tub. Will definitely stay again when visiting Eagle River.
Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable. We loved the hot tube and the pool. When I asked were the washer and dryer were. She quickly added she had quarters if I needed. Breakfast was very good and varied. We really enjoyed our stay.
Extremely friendly, clean and accommodating. The staff was always eager to help and had a smile. Received texts asking if we needed anything and requesting feedback to make the stay more enjoyable. We were very pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. Also close to good restaurants and parking easy. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!
Hotel rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Staff is amazing, always greeted with a smile. Continental breakfast was fresh and delicious. Property is clean and well maintained. Close to town and many restaurants. We will definitely be back!
The owners of this hotel truly care about their customers. They are very accommodating and work with their visitors to make it a pleasant experience. In fact, they sent us a text after the first night to see if there was anything else that they could do to make our stay pleasant- wow! I have been working in a customer service organization for over 30 years and I would use this establishment as a gold standard. And most importantly, the hotel and rooms are clean!!!!! The beds were comfortable as well.
Excellent stay!! The room was very clean, the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable, nice shower, good continental breakfast with many food/drink options, friendly staff, ample parking and nice pool! Don't forget your suit!! Highly recommend!!
The Derby Inn has very clean rooms and a spectacular breakfast. Also a nice large pool and the hot tub was very roomy too. The front desk people are very helpful and the parking lot is clean and spacious. One of the better places to stay. Highly recommend.
