Best Western Chula Vista/Otay Valley Hotel - Hotel in Chula Vista - 4450 Main St, USA

We booked this hotel during our holidays twice but on different days. I rebooked this hotel because of the cleanliness of the rooms and surrounding areas and quality of the breakfast that was served. Our room was spacious and very clean. The pool was very nice and very well kept. Their breakfast was amazing! The first day they had scrambled eggs, hashbrowns with cheese with bacon, sausages plus waffles and more. A good variety of juices, coffee , yogurt, muffins and fresh fruit served all the times . My second stay they had bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns as well as all the fixings you'd find paying for a breakfast meal in a restaurant. We were extremely happy with our stay . The only thing we had issues with the second stay was internet had issues connecting for a bit but overall I'd strongly recommend this hotel.

Great location for attending a concert at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater. Uber ride was short getting there and we walked back to the hotel along Main Street after the show to avoid crowds. Sidewalks all the way and In N Out was still open at 1 am so we had a bite to eat.

Here for my husbands work week. Job site is close to this. The beds are some of the most comfortable beds weve ever slept in. Lots of pillows. Cushy and plush bedding. The breakfast selection was beyond expectations. Kids got all the things they liked. Plus hot foods: eggs, potatoes, sausage etc. Coffees for me. We enjoyed the pool. Everything was clean. Staff is very friendly. Staff member gave chocolate bars to my kids. Much appreciated!

The front desk receptionist was very friendly and was knowledgeable about the venue we were going to for a concert nearby. However, it is difficult to get in and out of the hotel because of its location and there were no extra blankets in the room. Other than that we had a nice stay!

Positive: The staff were great and completely accommodating. This is our third year staying here while heading to Sesame Place, which is very close by. There?s also a great Mexican place to eat next door. Negative: Proximity to the gas station and apartments can make the road and parking lot noise a little loud at night.

The rooms are dingy and outdated the carpet was dirty walls were dirty odor in the room coming from small ac unit. Water did not go down in the tub for a while. Breakfast was not good with over heated chilaquiles cold dried potatoes and days old beans the bread was not fresh the only thing was able to be good is the waffles and fresh fruit. Staff is friendly and very helpful but do t wate ur money definitely better at some motel 6

Guest services was very nice. Hooked us up with two rooms last mintue ( due to an error on my part in making reservations) and made sure we got all avaiable discounts. However me and my mom got very dirty rooms. My mom found a dead bed bug under the TV stand in her room and she had already been killing bugs. since we were not sure if the ones she had already killed were bed bugs she switched rooms. The new room was much cleaner way less dust and no smell. My room was dirty and dusty. The carpet had stains it also smelled very strongly of poop and the bed skirt was dirty. When I switched rooms the new room had no smell and way less dusty however the iron and suitcase holder were missing. You have to request for your room to be cleaned the day before we did that and double checked that we were on the list in the morning. When I came back to my room it had not been cleaned and I still needed towels. The guy at the front desk was very sorry and put me on the list to have my room cleaned and gave me the towels he could get though it was not enough.

Water clogged in tubs so you take a shower in your own dirt. Our toilet and the person in th room next to us had toilets stopped up. No hot water between 4-6am for 2 out of 6 days I stayed there. Never again☹️
