Small leisure hotel at the gates of Death Valley, ideal for a road trip. Check-in was straightforward. My room was large enough and clean. A particular highlight is the pool and whirlpool, which can be used free of charge. I was impressed by the breakfast. There are various restaurants within walking distance for dinner.

Room was immaculately clean. Family suite was spacious. Breakfast was great, so many options including pancake and waffles with all kinds of fun toppings, eggs sausage and gravy, Greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and much more. All staff we encountered were happy to help with anything!

We stayed 1 night here a few days ago. Check-in was a breeze and the staff so friendly. Room looked like it was completely remodeled. Beautiful floors and everything spotless. By 8 pm I never heard traffic or people. Very quiet. The pillows are a little on the hard side but the bed itself was very comfortable. We did utilize the pool and it was very clean and inviting. Not heated but still crystal clear! There is a fitness center, meeting room, lots of parking and common breakfast area. The breakfast was very sufficient with an on-site attendant keeping it very clean. The hotel is very easy to find. I would recommend the second floor.

We stayed here for one night during our visit to Death Valley National Park. The location of the motel is convenient to the national park and the room includes free breakfast, but that's where the positives end. The parking is an open corner lot. The rooms were okay, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and there is a lot of road noise, which made getting sleep quite difficult. The walls are paper thin.||While the service was okay, after checkout we were told everything was good. One day later, we got mysterious charges on our credit card alleging one of the bath towels was damaged. There was no damage caused by us, and the towel quality was poor to begin with. There was no way any towels could be damaged from regular one-bath use. When I discovered these shenanigans, I protested the charge, and the hotel manager responded with an excuse, saying they don't check the towels until much later by some cleaning crew and the charge was for towels that cannot be washed. She did give a courtesy refund, but I would have disputed this scam anyway.||I later found out in other reviews that this hotel and management at this location scams several customers with alleged towel damage charges. So I am not the only one they tried to pull this scam on. I have never seen this kind of towel damage charge in my four decades of travel from any hotel. This hotel management is a disgrace to the Best Western brand, and someone from corporate should investigate and reprimand them for levying such spurious charges on unsuspecting travelers. Stay away from this hotel for this reason if you can.

Very nice motel with a great helpful staff. Have stayed here twice before. Very clean rooms and everything works well . Also quiet although located on the main boulevard. If you are visiting the area, I highly recommend staying here for the reasons above.

Update and response to Shari-AGM's reply: Thanks for your response. But, your response reveals the true intention: scamming customers with bogus linen damage charges and presenting absurd excuses backed by false claims and random photos that don't belong to us. Your claims about several bath linens and sheets having fluorescent green stains are not only false but utterly ridiculous. This is not an establishment I would ever stay at again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. While you did issue a courtesy waiver, it should not be considered a courtesy when it comes after being called out on these fraudulent charges. Shari, good luck running a business this way, charging customers in bad faith. Please, for a change, try to do the right thing for all customers and operate your business honestly. Great for a comfortable overnight stop along Route 395. Clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff. The young man on the desk at night sent us to a good diner style restaurant for dinner within walking distance. And in the morning the young woman checking us out gave us easy directions for heading back to Route 395.

Service was excellent. Way better than the new norm. Every person greated us like we were family. Our room was clean. The breakfast was good. They even made my sister some eggs without onions when I explained she is allergic but LOVES eggs for breakfast. I cannot mention enough, the detail and care taken by this team. I pray their influence of love and kindness refreshes every guest and inspires those guest to share the same kindress and excellence.
