Best Western Central Inn - Hotel in Savannah - 45 Eisenhower Dr, USA

The room was clean and somewhat updated. The location is great, close to lots of places to go. The reason for 3 stars: We checked in at about midnight, when we enter the room the AC is off and it's 82 degrees in the room. There was a strong musky smell to the room and we had to spray body spray to cover it. The refrigerator was also off and smelled when I opened the door so we didn't want to put anything in it. The bathroom had no AC or exhaust fan so if you were in there for an extended time with the door closed it got hot and stuffy pretty quick. Other than what I've listed, it was a decent room. Could have been better, but definitely could have been worse.

Très bien pour une étape pour visiter Savannah, à environ 15min du centre ville en voiture. Accueil très sympathique. Nous avions une chambre à l'étage, au bout du couloir donc calme. Grande chambre, bien équipée, propre. Piscine sympa avec des transat mais le lieu entre le parking et la route n'est pas top. Petit dej simple mais correct, en revanche la salle a manger est beaucoup trop petite, il y avait la queue pour accéder au buffet et pas la place pour s'assoire pour tout le monde.

Nicest old school motel I've stayed in (maybe ever) in a very long time. IWe happen to love one or two level exterior entrance motels and this one is great. Although it is obviously not new it looked fresh and clean. We felt ver safe here and the staff were outstanding. It is obvious that someone is managing this place very well. This is one of the last great ones left. Excellent value and honestly a place you will be ecstatic that you booked. I can't tell you how many reviews I've written about "OK" places to stay for $100 or so but I can tell you you won't regret this one. Oh, and the pool was just as clean and well kept as the rest of the place. Ice and vending machines were clean well lit and accesible too.

I chose this hotel due to it being right outside of the historic district and offering free parking and a free breakfast. It was a short drive to our tour and to dinner. Parking is horrendous in the historic district, so it was worth staying out a bit. Our check-in was smooth and the room was basic but had everything that we needed for our short stay. There is a pool but we did not use it. We did take advantage of the breakfast the next morning before heading out and it was good. The ladies working there were extremely nice. It is located right next to a waffle House and has a 24-hour store a block away. We stopped there after our ghost tour and had some frozen yogurt. Overall, a very good hotel for a good price.

Giving this total 5 stars because.... The good: very clean! I don't think I've ever seen a more well kept 2 star hotel. Everything was top notch in that respect. Loved the washroom products in shower! Best set up I've seen, ever. Good value for location, very close to biggest mall in area for you shopping addicts. The not so good, Breakfast. I paid the extra for breakfast, but I think there's better value in the waffle house 200 meters away. Breakfast was very plain, definitely edible. However, I'd suggest adding bacon and hard boiled eggs, etc. I did read other reviews suggesting the same... Could use some cover over the smoking area bench. Something simple, keep you out of sun/rain. Of course, everything is subjective. 😎

The thousands of good reviews definitely fooled me. Never been to Savannah before but the area doesn't give off safe vibes. For the price, the room is small, the bathroom sink is open to the main area, not a separate room. We arrived and there was blood on the comforter. I went and asked for new bedding and I was told by the front desk that they had no more comforters or sheets and the best they could do was blankets. I've definitely stayed in worse hotels but for it being rated so high, it was definitely a disappointment and I won't be back.

This hotel is the only hotel that has cleaned my room every day that I was there in a very long time. It was very quiet here, except the one morning when someone was mowing the lawn at 7:30 AM. Breakfast had a great variety. It was kept well stocked and what should be hot was hot. What should be cold was cold. All the staff was very friendly. The swimming pool was small, but just right. But the temperature was very hot more like a hot tub than a pool, which should be cooler to be a little more refreshing.

We stayed here for a few days as a stop-over on our drive to Florida to visit family. Our stay was average - a clean but dated room, a nice swimming pool, and a good hot breakfast each morning. It was good enough for a few days as a place to rest after exploring the city. My review would’ve been better if it wasn’t for all of the issues I’ve dealt with since we checked out. Unfortunately, we accidentally left behind some belongings in our room when we checked out. The hotel didn’t bother to call us to let us know that we had forgotten items; instead, they sent us an automated text message that we didn’t see until we were 4 hours away because we were driving. When I finally got in contact with the front desk staff, they said the manager would ship us our items since we were too far away to come pick them up as long as we paid for the cost of shipping. I was more than willing to pay for the shipping and was very grateful that they were willing to do this for us. However, we checked out 8 days ago, and every day since, I’ve been told by the front desk staff that the manager would be mailing our forgotten items that day, but each day he hasn’t mailed them. When I’ve asked to speak to the manager directly to see if there’s anything I could do to make the process easier and quicker, I’ve been told he isn’t available to talk and I was even hung up on. There is obviously some miscommunication happening between the staff and manager, and it’s caused me to either be lied to or given wrong information by staff. I’ve been rushed off the phone very rudely by staff every time I’ve called to find out what is happening with our forgotten items and if they’re still being mailed to us. I feel like my forgotten items are being held hostage by this hotel for some unknown reason. I also don’t understand why the manager is never available and is obviously unwilling to ship our items to us. It was our mistake to leave them, and if they’re not willing to ship forgotten items, I wish this hotel just would’ve been upfront with us from the beginning instead of causing all of these issues for us. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone because the management and staff are incompetent and rude, but if you have to stay here, be very cautious with your belongings.
