Best Western Capistrano Inn - Hotel in San Juan Capistrano - 27174 Ortega Hwy., USA

Check in was easy, our room was ready early, the extra space for the extra $10 was well worth it. Walking distance to the marina where we enjoyed happy hour at wind and sea. Then we snuck over to the BBQ spot right next door. Starbucks nearby and a beautiful park to walk to with my dog and baby. Breakfast was great, we had machine made pancakes that you got to watch them cook and eggs. Amelia in the cafeteria was a great help. I was with my baby while my husband went to the gym and she helped me clean my table, grab extra items and even played peek a boo with my son, who watched her every move! I’ve worked for the Marriott for years and enjoyed my cheap rates and now I found a chain with great service and excellent prices that I can rely on. Thanks BW it was 10/10 getaway.

The overall location was great for the wedding we attended, however there were bugs in the shower and the mattress was not comfortable at all. Parking was also tough if you return later in the evening. The breakfast was decent and the dining area was very nice. There was a pool with a very small spa, probably space for 2 or 3 max.

Do not stay at this motel! VERY old and the rooms show it. Horrible stained carpet, old, chipped showers, musty smelling, had a line of ants in our first room, employee had to come fix our (new) TV every night so it would work. I gave the review two stars only because the recliner and bed were comfortable, the employees were nice and the breakfast was good. The rooms were awful. The pool area was small but looked nice and people were enjoying it. They should give this motel up to the homeless housing. Seriously, the rooms were that bad.

Fantastic location - near the Old Mission and surrounding businesses. Great breakfast, front desk provided excellent service. Pool was inviting and clean. Room was clean - hotel is a bit dated, but overall very good value and would stay again.

A very pleasant experience. Clean, comfortable and quiet. DOG Friendly. Awesome big breakfast. Location right off freeway hard to turn left on the way out. Had to make a right and then a uturn. That was the only bad. All better than great!!

It is very relaxing and nice to stay here! The lady at the front was helpful and nice, the staff were friendly, and the rooms are very neat and elegant. It is also very spacious, and enough to fit four people, at the max! I will have to come and visit again!!!! 🧳

Do not stay here. This is not a hotel, this is a motel. The rooms have had little to no upkeep in the last 20 years and smell like a beach bathroom. Poorly insulated windows and doors mean you're listening to the highway all night long. My mattress springs were literally poking through the sheets and cut my leg. At check-in, you're not a guest, you're a room number. If you can spend a little more for a real hotel, do it. If you can't, go for something further from the beach. When problems were reported to the manager, they never responded.

Excellent we had to attend a wedding in San Juan Capistrano and this Best Western Hotel was close to the venue and very nice and reasonable price. Also, it had a nice and clean room with great internet. The wedding was on a Friday and my husband needed to work a bit before the wedding. Great breakfast the next day. Variety of food for breakfast. I recommend this hotel.
