The room wreaked of smoke. The bathroom was dirty. IT looked as if someone dyed their hair in the shower. The dye was all over the shower walls. There was hair in the tub and on the walls. The towels were dirty and had hair on them. The room was just not a good look. The staff was kind and friendly and the location is great. There's plenty to eat and lots of shopping up the street from the hotel.

0/5 “BEST” WESTERN? NOTHING “BEST” ABOUT IT! DO NOT STAY HERE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4 or 5 STAR REVIEWS, PROBABLY EMPLOYEES! The room was dirty, the floor was wet and soaked our socks(gross), the AC did not work(it was 90 degrees or higher all week) and the maintenance man never showed up to fix it (even though he apparently lives on site), it smelled of smoke, had tons of fruit flies, dirty fridge, no towels at all in the bathroom, the floors had not been vacuumed, no crib in our room as requested, and trash had been left on the counter. The front desk stopped answering our calls. When we went to the front counter to ask for a different room, they had all gone home for the night! |Both Customer Service and the hotel were hard to deal with. No one wanted to refund me the $100ish. How much would that have hurt the company? But I guess if they refunded all of the people complaining in these reviews, they would be out of business. At the very least, this hotel should be shut down or remodeled, with new staff added. |I spent weeks trying to get a refund. I spoke with Corporate, who were very polite but each person I spoke to had the same literally scripted response. I was told to call the hotel. The manager had the front desk person speak to me (which took 4 days) Finally, I was offered 15% off of my next stay(who said I would ever be staying there again). I told them that wasn’t acceptable. When I finally spoke with the manager, Sonjay, he offered me 25% off of my next stay, then cut it back to 15% because too much time had passed (I’ve been at this for 18 days!), then he took the offer completely off the table because I didn’t book directly through the hotel. The owner of this particular hotel, Mukesh Desai, might want to visit. He may be shocked and ashamed that his hotel looks like it does. Would he stay here? And the CEO of the company, Larry Cuculic, should be making sure the name of the company he runs is in good standing. Would he stay in this Best Western? I think not.

Decent value for the price. The hotel is nothing special and gives the appropriate value for a two star hotel. I stayed on the second floor, and my room was clean with no problems and no concerns. However, other reviews mentioned that their room smelled like animal pee. This was not a problem in my room, or in the hallway on the second floor, however, when I walked downstairs for check out, I was horrified at how badly the first floor really DID smell like animals. I would definitely recommend staying on the second floor if you choose this hotel. It smells like someone has been living on the ground floor with a whole pack of wet dogs.||One final note - The hotel could really use some soundproofing because The hallways are very echoey and sound carries well… which is not a great feature in a hotel when you’re trying to sleep. None of the other guests were particularly loud or bothersome - normal activities, such as talking, opening and closing doors, etc. - but the acoustics of the hallway, make everything that happens out there feel like it’s happening in your room. So sleep was difficult. ||However, the room was clean, and I felt safe, and those are the most important things for me when staying in a hotel.

I stopped here for one night as the half way point up the Eastcoast. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. The rooms smell like smoke, I had to change rooms because the smoke detector was chirpping- not a big deal but both rooms smelled like smoke. There's a bright light right outside my window and the shade only goes down halfway so that light will be in my face all night. I think the loud highway noise will be drowned out by the ac at least. I'm pretty disappointed, but just need a quick sleep to be back on the road.

The women at the front desk were very polite and the location is great, but that’s about the only positives about this hotel. I always check to see if the shower and toilet works properly; and I also check if the sheets, drawers, microwave, and fridge is clean. My boyfriend and I had to flush the at least two times for it to fully flush our whole stay. The water would twirl around the first time, taking some of the waste down. The second or third flush is when the water actually went down like how it’s supposed to. (#1 or #2, with or WITHOUT toilet paper, we had to flush the toilet like this every single time) Since we just got in the room and didn’t use the bathroom yet, I went to the front desk and the “maintenace” man that was behind the front desk came to our room with a long green tool and stuck it in the toilet, he flushed the toilet and it worked properly. I asked if he can try it one more time just to be sure, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. I asked him to please try and fix it again, which he then used the green tool and of course it worked perfectly on the first flush again. I AGAIN asked him to try it one more time, and of course it didn’t flush on the first try again. He then told me I would have to flush it twice, quickly touching the handle for it to work; and he knows this bathroom, that it is okay. While he was “working” on the toilet, I noticed that the sheets had black and grey spots on them. He walked over with the green tool that he just used on the toilet still in his hand (so now there’s toilet water dripping on the floor from the bathroom to our bed); he began to touch the sheets and said that they’re clean and brand new multiple times. After that I asked for clean sheets. He only brought one sheet; I then asked him for everything: a fitted sheet, a blanket, etc. He brought me the bedding with the toilet tool still in his hand. There were multiple other unfortunate situations, but this review is pretty long. The freezer was dirty and so was the microwave. The carpet was moist and very sticky. One end of the shower rod was broken off the wall and looked like to be holding on by a big rectangular piece of paint or something. Room #109. I’ve stayed here multiple times in the past, but never again. $545 ≠ 5 nights at the Best Western Burlington Inn.

The hotel lobby, halls, and elevator are kept extremely HOT. We got into our room and that was even warmer. We turned AC on and it was taking awhile to work - check the filter and no one has cleaned it! We did. Room has a weird odor. Bed is hard. Pillows are super flimsy with NO head support. I’d expect this from a cheaper hotel. Not awful but not decent either. Additionally, phone, fridge, and clock weren’t plugged in? Lol

We liked this place so much we stayed two weekends in a row for work. It was sparkling clean, very comfortable, everything worked, serves a delicious breakfast, and all the staff I encountered (excepting one) was kind, pleasant, personable, and professional. I really enjoyed talking to Mike the Maintenance Guy. He has a good heart and I appreciated his positive words about the hotel and its management. They really are putting a lot into this place. Sure it has some cosmetic things here and there, but I have no problem with a little chipped caulk for that level of comfort and convenience at such a good price. There was one rather rude fly in the ointment- one morning a loud, uncouth male employee was yelling, loudly, numerous colorful expletives. It would seem, as he was collecting trash (or doing his job I should say), he found the guests of the hotel to be “trashy” and “disgusting” and other things I cannot repeat in a review. It really echoed down the hallway. I was horrified by the level of unprofessionalism. I know everyone has a bad day now and again, but keep it together sir! This was the same man that seemed incapable of responding when greeted with a smile and hello. I couldn’t figure out why this complete stranger (who does have a lovely singing voice) seemed filled with animosity towards me. All of that was unsettling and uncomfortable. It really stinks because everyone else was so lovely. They don’t deserve that.

ZERO STARS! Any review over 2 stars has to be FAKE. This place is gross! When complaints are made to management about the smoke smell in the lobby they act like you are crazy. When we later complained about how filthy the room and hallways and told them we wanted to check out early and get refunded for any remaining days they said oh you were supposed to cancel a few days before check in date for any refund. They mislead customers into booking thinking the place is good with fake reviews then when you arrive to the hotel they tell you it’s too late to get a refund if you cancel. I called Priceline and they said they can only give me refund according to what the hotel is willing to give. So in other words the hotel gets to keep my money for remaining days even though I only wanted to check out early because of the horrible conditions of the property. General manager Sanjay Patel offered me $20 refund!!!! Are you kidding me !! The rooms are dingy and stinky. The shower knob is disgusting and hardly works. You can see dirty from peoples body oil and dirt under the knob. I have pictures! The toilet paper holder is gross too rusted. The towels have stains on them and they don’t even bother to fold them properly. Hair is everywhere. Empty liquor bottles and trash were left in the hallways from the afternoon before when we checked in to the morning when we tried to check out early. The stairs are FILTHY!!! Like they haven’t been mopped in months. I was scared we would get bed bugs so I decided to check out and cut my losses. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Called on check out morning (because again I left after the first night and was refused a refund) and spoke to Kami at the front desk. She was the only staff member to apologize. The general manager Sanjay Patel didn’t care and was sarcastic. I will be contacting the BBB and let them know how misleading this hotel. They need to be inspected by the city so I might call them too!!! Should’ve given me my refund!

Oldie but goodie. Well maintained with lots of easy and diverse trails. I recommend going in all of the seasons. This winter visit, there were so many birds. We saw a ton of Orioles. It was spectacular.
