The hotel was in an okay area. The staff were nice and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only thing I did not like was the smell. The property has an old mildew like smell.
I had to comeback this morning and update my review. Please be careful when you eat continental breakfast. (I didn’t eat it this morning) but, I saw the male staff pack the left over bagels back in the bag with his BARE HANDS!!! How disgusting is that.
*Shout out to Victoria for taking care of us!
Wonderful place to stay at. Our room was clean and we got fresh towels and washcloths put in daily while there. Front Desk staff that were there April19-21, 7 am to 11 pm (Vernocia/Victoria and Tracee/Trisha) were fabulous and very helpful. I do apologize if I got their names wrong. (Those two made our stay even better thank you again)
Phone didn't work, had to walk down to desk to report. Also the water was turned off on the toilet (seem very odd, have spent 100s of nights in many different hotels/motels and never came across this in 40 plus years of traveling) Room was clean although mirrors and bed frame is showing it's age.
Great location in Augusta to access all the city has to offer. You’re within 10-20 minutes from most everything. I can’t say enough about the staff, from the front desk, cleaning staff, and the morning crew with breakfast!! They actually care about their guests and know you by name. They also care about the motel and take pride in their jobs. Teresa, the manager and Robin that works the evening shift are exceptionally at their jobs with assisting veterans and they are fantastic people!!
We have stayed at this BW several times and have always been pleased. It is an older property but has been well maintained…the grounds are neat and tidy, the parking lot clean, etc. The front desk staff, both evening and morning, were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean and the bed super comfy…nothing not to like at this BW. Is it fancy? No, but it’s clean and comfortable.
Front desk person was very nice and patient as my very hyper son was all over the place. She even engaged with him to help keep him distracted while we finished paperwork. Room was clean and everything was in place. Breakfast was simple but good: biscuits, gravy, sausage, bagels, cereals, eggs, fruit, juice, milk, coffee. It’s not a high-end hotel by any stretch but was great for a night’s stay while traveling with a kid.
Absolutely the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Augusta! Great price, clean facilities, comfortable beds, and amazingly wonderful staff!!! I stayed two nights the second night was unexpected and was able to get a room. Both nights each room was super clean, well stocked, wonderfully comfortable bed, and smiling friendly helpful staff!
Location is nice. Place is dated and needs remodeled but was clean and a decent place to stay. Staff is nice. Breakfast is OK, nothing to fill up on
Stayed for one night on our way to Charleston, SC. The hotel is new and modern with comfy beds; free grab-and-go breakfast and immaculately clean!!! Highly recommended!
Fresh poke bowl loading with salmon and tuna. I usually eat multiple rolls at a sushi restaurant and you get way more tuna and salmon here. Worth the stop. I had a trailer and was able to park in the back of the lot
Fantastic.12/26/23 @11:30 AM. Walked into a clean restraunt, and greeted by a very friendly staff. The young man behind the counter that took our order showed pride in what he was doing through his customer service skills and was clearly thankful for
The atmosphere was so welcoming. The inside is very charming and cozy. I love the authentic feel to the place. The young lady working in the front was so sweet and offered to turn on Scooby-Doo Halloween movies for my 4 year old. Food definitely exce
