Best Western Aspen Hotel - Featured Reviews (459)
The room itself was very clean. Nice, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. I will stay here again next time I am in the area. I was up and out before breakfast was fully out. I did enjoy the delicious tasting coffee. The TV was smaller than I am used to but I really did not use it anyway.
In one word….GROSS! There was a cigarette odor at the front door. The young man at the front desk was not friendly and didn’t smile. My boyfriend looked out at the pool and it was empty and there was junk in it. The hotel is in serious need of updating and cleaning. Our room stunk and our AC was not working properly and there was no one around to look at it and the young man at the front desk did not offer a solution. The curtain was ripped. I paid extra to have a jet tub in the bathroom. It was nasty. There was mildew around some of the caulking and grime around the jets. The entire bathtub looked dirty. Needless to say, we didn’t use it. The bedspread looked very old and the sheets were not soft. We had to fall asleep in a warm musty room on uncomfortable sheets. We were SO disappointed, we didn’t even look at the breakfast area. I’ve read good reviews about this place, but this was not our experience at all and won’t be going back.
Very disappointing in this Best Western hotel! this was one of the grossest rooms I have ever seen. The mirror was cracked. Stuff on the walls, wasn’t very clean, and there were no hand carts for luggage when we arrived. I did, however, demand come in and clean that gunk off the wall. Disgusting!
It was too late to go anywhere else. I should demand my money back.
I like best Western hotels but I will never stay in this one again.
This is an above average Best Western. It's not of the level of a BW+ but very nice. Our room was nicely decorated, everything was in good condition, and it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. There are a couple of restaurants adjacent to this property. The hotel is just off Rogers Ave which is very busy. So I recommend asking for a room with an odd number. Those rooms are on the south side of the building. Or in the annex building which is also on the south side.
Reception not friendly at check in. Different person at check out was friendly. Large TV. Nice hot breakfast. Room service daily. Jacuzzi tub in room was a relief after a long drive. Swimming pool did not have water in it. Refrigerator. Comfortable bed & pillows.
This hotel is Gross to say the least. The 1st room we were given smelled like cigarette smoke and there was a nasty pile of what looked like baby poop on the top bed cover. The second room smelled musty and there were dirty cobwebs in multiple places throughout the room. As well as numerous hairs throughout the bed sheets. The curtain rod was loose. There was no cold fresh water. They put chemicals in the pool and closed it prior to closing and said it was filling in the morning so we couldn't swim. The hotel overall was hot and smelly.
It's not worth a stay. Look somewhere else.
The bedroom was very nice, BUT the bathroom needs more improvement. The shower had issues (the tub felt like it was cracking every time I moved, and the ceiling had hair on it, like someone through it up there. Above the light fixtures, there is a big hole that needs fixed. The bed was way too hard and creaked every time we moved.
On the good side the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good.
Hotel is older hotel and in good shape. However property next door to the north another motel Quality is horrible shape and we encountered gas station on corner to be sketch and dope addicts and criminals hanging around while filling up with gas for trip home the next day. So keep your guard up in this area along I49 in Fayetteville. It might be good for city to work or Best Western to work to tear those two properties down and build a much nicer larger gas station such as a Buc-ees or Racetrack, or Quick Trip or 7-11 in those two spaces next to this hotel.
My mother and I stayed here over Christmas, and it was lovely! The room was clean and comfortable, had plenty of space, lots of outlets for chargers, a good sized fridge/freezer, and even had sulfate-free shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower (gr
The room was very clean. The bathrooms had Dove soap and lotion that smelled really good. The hotel breakfast was good too! And there are many restaurants near the hotel. I definitely recommend this Holiday Inn! ð
I thoroughly enjoy the wonderful soaps, body moisture creams, and chapstick. The scents are wonderful. Some of the chapstick is seasonal, which makes it fun.
