I was looking at computers. The first guy spotted me and I asked if I needed help. I said nope and with no hassle left. Then I did have a question. The next salesperson was busy helping someone. I saw a salesperson doing something in the computer area. I asked a couple questions. She recognized pretty quickly that she didn't have the answers and found the first guy. The first guy came back and we had a great conversation about computers. Of course he tried to sale me something but it was definitely o pressure. All this to say, I go to Best Buy because in general the staff is knowledgeable and knows where to find the answers. When I am ready to buy they do all the necessary work to help make an informed purchase. I always go back.
Good products for amazing prices with a engaging and helpful customer service.
I love when they point across a giant store with no labeled aisles trying to explain where something is instead of just taking you there. Even better when the item you are looking for isn’t even there. Seriously how does Best Buy not have an aux cord😂.
I understand if the sales person is working with another customer. With that being said - If I’m standing there for more than 5 minutes, and I am within 5 feet of you and you don’t even bother to acknowledge me, I will just buy what I need on Amazon.
They had a few nice open box items and the price was right. Hard to pass up. I just wish they had more associates on the floor. The last three times I've gone there has been only one person in the phone area and no one in appliances, computers, or TV/home audio in Lawrence, Kansas. I have to go to the service desk/geek squad are to ask them to call someone over. It's like Walmart in the late 80s...
They have the best car stereo installer in the area for sure - Mike rocks at it and will get through any obstacles to make it work and work well
Up to date, friendly staff, really easy to navigate. Have been in many times to get pricing ideas and if I should look online for other deals or not. I usually go here for laptops or simpler tech things, they've got a nice selection. The computer gaming peripherals are on the pricier end, but they seem to only keep a handful of the bigger name brand stuff. There's a nice big selection of tvs, and the opened-box sales aren't too bad. You can use the geek squad if you want but you'll get a cheaper, and more satisfying service from a local computer repair shop, even if it takes longer.
Only 4 stars for me, because I do not care for some of these prices. Other than that, we had a pretty good experience there!
