Purchase orders online ONLY if you’re gonna do pickup - especially if it’s appliances. My grievance is not with this location but the entire franchise… Here’s why: I ordered an over the range microwave online and scheduled the delivery a week ago. I completed the pre-check and received text message notifications all the way up to the morning of delivery(today). The last text I received was the arrival time 8:50am. After an hour I clicked on the tracking link and it told me I had to schedule an appointment as if mine had been canceled. I called into customer support and they informed me that the microwave was on back order. I received NO correspondence (email, text, or call) to tell me this. I had to call in an hour after the delivery was expected. Furthermore, neither the support rep or the supervisor offered any solutions (e.g. offer a microwave that was on stock and schedule a new delivery date, credit to my account, or anything)! So I asked to cancel my order so I could see about another microwave - they canceled it and then told me it would take a billing cycle to be refunded back to the Best Buy credit card! Needless to say - their systems need updates and their customer support department needs training. I truly hope the call was recorded and more importantly they do something about it to prevent this experience for other people in the future. I would not recommend scheduling anything for delivery, if you can just pick it up.

All they want to do is push their credit cards and warranties. Barely listen to anything you say when checking out and then mess up when actually purchasing the item. also to add the cashier could not understand that I wanted to have split payments. So I had to stand there for 35 minutes to get them to unlock my card. Then another 20 just to wait in line. Worst Best Buy I have ever been to. Don't go to this one if you have another option.

On July 6, 2024 I entered the Douglasville, Georgia store to purchase a laptop. My mom and I always shop at Best Buy for all of our business needs as we own and operate six businesses. We make a lot of purchases with Best Buy. I arrived at 7:40pm, 20 minutes prior to closing. I spoke to a salesman who was great and informed him that I needed a laptop similar to the one I purchased in March or April. I also informed him that I would need the Geek Squad to perform the new computer set up as they have done on all of my computers. He informed me that they were closing soon so I may have to go and let them know I need to drop off the laptop. When I approached the counter, Mac (a female) was sitting behind the counter and I informed her that I was finalizing a sale in the HP section and would like to drop off the new laptop for a new computer set up and pick it up tomorrow. By this time it was 7:58pm. She cut me off and said "I'm closed"! With no eye contact whatsoever. I then proceeded to ask her if I can just drop it off (as I have done numerous times at the Smyrna store) and she said "No, I'm closed and it will take time to print the paper work, it's 8pm". I then stated to her it wasn't 8pm when I walked up and she stated that it didn't matter, she was already closed with no eye contact at all. She then offered an appointment for the next day at 4pm and I accepted the appointment. I finalized the sale and left the store. The remaining is too many characters to type.

This has got to be one of the sorriest excuses for retail store I've ever been in to in my life. There were six employees standing around doing nothing as people waited at the customer service desk that had one employee working. To be overstaffed and have customers under helped is a critical management issue. This was my second order in 2 days that I've had issues with. The young man who finally got my order was very friendly and apologetic. That's no excuse for poor management.

No one to wait on you, we were next after the person finished with a customer in another department. We waited and waited, and left. Did not see the first sales person on floor. Only saw the greeter and he was no help.

PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW BEST BUY TO INSTALL ANY APPLIANCE IN YOUR HOME. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased a portable air conditioner from Best Buy- Douglasville on June 18. I went on and paid to have Best Buy install it. On June 24, Best Buy’s third-party company, Just Install LLC, sent two people out to install the air conditioner. These individuals were extremely unprofessional and very clearly, didn’t know what they were doing. They installed the air conditioner incorrectly, damaging my screen and window in the process. Whenever I call the customer service line, I reach a different person and it’s clear their calls are outsourced out of the country. After much back and forth, i decided I wanted Best Buy to send someone out to remove the appliance completely and get a refund. This incompetent company has scheduled the EXACT same contractor who messed up everything in the first place. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! The first pic below is what the portable air conditioner should look like when installed properly. The other pics are from my house. It’s very clear that Best Buy sent out an incompetent team.
