Best Buy - Electronics store in St Peters - 5651 S Service Rd, USA

This Best Buy has always been great for us, never had bad experience yet. Bought four refrigerators from them so far and dishwasher with home install, working without issues. Have 3 fridges below, one thing to understand about them that is when set to fridge temperature goes down to maximum to 37-38 degrees when fridge door is locked overnight, compared to the maximum advertised cooling degree of 35, so modern day fridges are designed to take less energy and cool less compared to the old ones, they are never designed to go down to advertise maximum cooling degree, i guess manufacturers are forced to do this now days. Needed something for a last minute event. The staff was very nice and accommodating! I was in a time crunch and they worked swiftly to get me in/out with the items I needed. I will for sure bookmark this location and make it my “go to” Best Buy in the St. Louis area!

My elderly, disabled mother ordered a cable for curbside. She checked in, then waited for 10 minutes. After no one came out she called the store and your employee snarked at her that it takes 20 minutes for curbside. I've been going to this store for 15+ years, and spent $1-$2k annually on computers/ components, but am done after this. I'll just start spending that at Micro Center. I'm looking forward to Amazon sending Best Buy into Circuit City land.

Was upsold extended warranty on LG refrigerator. Geek Squad found a loop hole in order to not do the repair stating compressor issues are handled by LG. I have had multiple visits to home and still no refrigerator. By passing the issue to LG, it has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. LG has no record of even being to my home due to the repairman not updating LG about the work that’s been done. I’m a military veteran who has been taken advantage of, after saving for months to afford a new refrigerator. Please DO NOT use Best Buy, Geek Squad, or LG! I’ve spent 6.5 hours collectively on the phone asking for any help, and no one seems to care.

I went to Best Buy to buy a computer. After looking around, not being helped, finding what I thought I wanted, I spotted a sign that asked to, scan a QR code, sign into a waiting list, provide a phone#, and wait. After 10 minutes myself and my wife left. Her comment to me was, why would we give them our business?

I bought 3 brand new TV's from this store. When I got them home, one was cracked. I had to drive it 45 minutes back to the store to exchange it only to get back home and the 2nd one was cracked near the same spot as the 1st one. I called the customer support line and they had no options to help straighten the situation out. I asked if they could arrange to have the cracked one picked up and shipped back and a new one delivered since the store was now out of the model i purchased. They wouldn't even think about it. In the end I had to take the 2nd TV back to the store, 45 minutes away, from there I had to drive even further to the distribution center in St. Charles to pick up the 3rd TV. No discount was offered, no reimbursement for the fuel wasted driving around two separate days, and not even an apology from Best Buy when I called. However, the manager at the Mid Rivers store was super cool and helped the best he could but it was obvious that his hands were tied in the situation. He did do what he could and had it arranged to be picked up across town. Overall, I won't be going to Best Buy for TV's again.

Do not waste your time calling. Nobody will answer the phone. Edit: so after going to the actual store, clearly upset that they dont answer their phones I found out my order that was supposed to be there today ( A refurbished laptop) was not intact thier. But, the best buy team and general manager Nick Webb made it right by offering me a new laptop that is actually a lot better than the one I ordered at a huge discount. They did not have to do that but they did. I would recommend going into the store, but, yeah don't waste time calling because they have no phones as was explained to me. Thanks Nick!!

Never buy from Best Buy if you want your order. I ordered a robot vacuum on Tuesday , and it said it would arrive on Thursday. Here comes Thursday, and no vacuum. They say it will arrive by Monday. I want to cancel the order, I can’t until about two weeks from then. We’ve already spent a bunch of money on this vacuum, but we can’t cancel it until so far away. That means that we can’t buy a different one until THEY cancel it. Horrible service. UPDATE: I ordered another one from Best Buy and it arrived the same day. But, Sunday, still no original vacuum. At least we have the robot vacuum we wanted.
