I came in prepared to buy. All 3 items not available in stock and would be needed to order. This is why box stores are irrelevant. Better to just order online and have it shipped.
I used Geek Squad at this Best Buy for an issue with wifi connectivity on my device and then was also able to upgrade the storage. Though there was an issue in the data conversion, Erik with geek squad was AMAZING in staying in touch with me and ensured the issue was resolved. It’s not easy to be without a laptop these days and I really appreciated Erik’s understanding and communication.
Other then having to smoke signal an employee for assistance i had a Wonderful customer service and return/ exchange experience!! Went in returning a overpriced samsung watch6 classic from marysville that was open box 222.67$ but changed to $307 at checkout. Decided that didnt feel right so i went to the lynnwood location and exchanged the 47mm watch6 classic for another watch6 classic in excellent condition with a extreme sport band + had 55$ returned to my original form of payment. In and out less then 20 minutes!!
We were told by someone at the Best Buy 800 number to just bring the laptop into our local store. That is what we did, we brought the laptop in and when we got into line at the Geek Squad we were told by the employee that he was the only one working and that we would have to make an appointment. He was extremely rude to us and my husband mentioned that we pay to have Geek Squad service. The employee thought we were being rude when we were not. The employee said if you're going to be rude then I'm not even going to talk to you, he turned around and walked into the back room with nothing else to say. This employee was very rude the way he talked to us and presented himself to us. We refuse to do any more business with the Best Buy in Marysville.
Title: A Black Friday Odyssey at Best Buy: Navigating Peaks and Valleys
I am an avid Best Buy enthusiast, drawn in particularly by the perks of their membership program. Despite the allure of giants like Amazon and Costco, my loyalty lies with Best Buy. The cost of their warranties, a concern with other retailers, becomes a non-issue, justified by the annual Black Friday extravaganza where my membership fee finds redemption.
On this eventful Black Friday, armed with anticipation and a shopping list, I ventured into the technological haven that is Best Buy. The thrill of snagging deals and the excitement of the hunt fueled my enthusiasm, leading to a substantial $2500 spree.
However, amidst the jubilation, a shadow was cast upon my experience, dampening the joy that should accompany such a retail spectacle. This grievance, expressed through a regrettable two-star rating, was not due to the cost or quality of the products but rather the vital factor of customer service.
In the retail world, where the spectrum ranges from food to electronics and gizmos, the value of customer service is paramount. It's a sentiment echoed in my disappointment – a sentiment that equates poor service to selling dog poo in a park; an analogy intended to emphasize the profound unacceptability of such behavior.
The crux of this narrative revolves around the purchase of a $1200 laptop, a jewel in the crown of my Black Friday haul. Regrettably, the experience took a sour turn at the computer station, where the salesman exhibited a demeanor that could be described as nothing short of rude, short, and robotic.
In stark contrast to this unfortunate encounter, the tale of the TV salesman, Donte, unfolds as a beacon of excellence in the aisles of Best Buy. His presence in the Television section was marked by qualities that set him apart – amazing intelligence, knowledge, and a genuine eagerness to assist customers.
Donte's approach was a breath of fresh air, as he took the time to teach and explain the differences in TVs, enhancing the shopping experience for every customer he engaged. His efforts, which I wholeheartedly appreciate, reflected a dedication to his craft that went beyond the call of duty.
It is with this dichotomy of experiences – the valleys of discontent at the computer station and the peaks of satisfaction in the TV section – that my review is framed. A plea to Best Buy to scrutinize and rectify the lapses in customer service, ensuring that employees like Donte, who contribute positively to the brand, are acknowledged and celebrated.
In conclusion, the tale of my Black Friday odyssey at Best Buy is one of contrasting emotions, where the ecstasy of deals collided with the agony of subpar customer service. It is my hope that this narrative serves as a clarion call for improvement, ensuring that the promise of a quality shopping experience is upheld at all times, with employees like Donte serving as shining examples of excellence.
Came in for GeekSquad assistance. All new PC hardware, just wanted a diagnostic for inoperative USB ports. These knuckleheads want to charge $179.99 yearly membership for a diagnostic. "It cover part replacement" Dude! I bought everything yesterday I could just exchange it for free if it's broken, why would I pay more?
And the website says $40 for Computer Setup, yet this rude Geek head says they don't provide that anymore. GEEKSQUAD can kick rocks. What a rip off
I dont' have social media, but thank you for responding BestBuy
I waited 4 days for delivery and installation of my new TV. However, there was no installation or haul away as promised. I could have had my TV working in 2 days. Donte is a great used car salesman. Got me to get a credit card and a membership, but lied about rest. Never buying from Best Buy again.
Not only the worst best buy I've ever been in, but they give zero regards to the law. If you have a ramp van, be prepared to not use it as they park their geek squad vans illegally blocking ramp access. When I mentioned it to the guy at the door, he shrugged it off. That's after walking around the store for 15 minutes being ignored by every associate on the floor until I gave up and left. Picture of the van is from today, less than a minute after telling them its illegally parked. ADA compliance is not something they get to decide to ignore.
Grabbed lunch here on our anniversary. Love that they have smaller portion plate lunches as an option. Even the smaller portions come with generous servings including rice & mac salad. We got the shoyu chicken, kalua pork, and spam musubi. Loved the
Do you love flavored whips? Then you're going to love Shipwreck! Always ask what whip flavors they have. Try their limited specials! One of my family's favorite coffee places! Always fantastic and the staff is always lovely.
Crave 80âs is my favorite bar. Iâve had many regular haunts over the years, but this place is something special. Magnificent atmosphere and staff, Alex in particular always makes my Wednesday night karaoke experience something memorable. Fantasti
