Best Buy - Electronics store in Montclair - 8960 Central Ave, USA

I’ve been shopping here for years! Always been happy with the products and customer service at this store but today was awesome. I had a return on an xbox controller that was very hard to find but the cashier was very helpful on finding me the item. I got a full refund and used my warranty for it. I was able to purchase a new controller and was honored the warranty as well. I want to say thanks to management both Jason and Max for being very professional and attentive..very much satisfied with the amazing help today.

Was quoted $650-$950 for a remote start from Audio shops. Went over to Best Buy Auto geek squad and purchased a kit for $400 free installation. Paco was amazing informative and very nice and did an amazing job. $400 out the door. Good job Best Buy Paco ☺️

Please read and don't let them fool you. They now charge you for EVERYTHING. Surprised they don't have a fee for using their bathroom. I have already stopped making large purchases at Best Buy. They take your money any chance they get. They charge you to join TotalTech, which they claim is insurance, and then charge you a "Service Fee" just so they can work on your item. To make matters worse, when they say your item can't be fixed, they don't refund your money, they give you store credit. Again, BE WARNED. Do not make major purchases with GeekSquad or Best Buy. Save your money and go elsewhere. Best Buy has become a scam now. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm paying off my credit card, and that's it. BTW, this sign is a false advertisement. You wait around while they take walk-ins.

Placed an online order for a used excellent condition item for same day pickup. spent 8 hours waiting and finally had to call to ask about it. They said it was ready and I said I never received an email about it. I went to pick it up, only for the associate to tell me its not ready. After about 20 minutes and 7 other associates, they couldn't get the item through their system for them to properly transfer it to me. They said just take it, don't worry about it. I left the store after closing, so when I got home I couldn't call about an item missing from the product. By the time I got to the store the next day for an exchange, they had cancelled the order without notifying me by email. So when I asked for an exchange the associate took it back and said "Thanks for bringing it back, I don't know what else I can do at this point." and I walked away empty handed. Terrible customer service. Never going back.

I think Best Buy does a pretty good job of online orders and then going into the store to pick it up. I am here on Black Friday around 8:30 in the morning. It's pretty chill. They have lots and lots and lots of inventory, and the people were pretty friendly and helpful.

I went into best buy to look at a gaming console I had been thinking of purchasing for a loved one for Xmas. Sensing my confusion, Ivan came over and asked me if I had any questions or needed help with anything. He was very friendly and provided me with all the information I needed. Went on a Saturday and parking was pretty open. Went to go get a Nintendo game but ended up looking at a lot of movies and TVs while we were there too. Check out was quick and easy. No line.

The Montclair Best Buy has some of the friendliest staff I have encountered in retail. They will greet you and ask if you need any assistance. Thank you for always providing a good experience.
