I love Best Buy, but this location has a lot of negatives going for it. First, the parking lot is extremely busy, usually long lines to get out, which means the price to park will be higher just because most of that time is wasted on trying to get out of the parking lot. Cell reception in Best Buy is horrible, I noticed it on more than one wireless carrier. Frequently this location doesn't have what I'm looking for. Lastly, ordering for pickup at this location definitely takes more than advertised time.
I was glad to be able to see in person some high-end audio receivers and take one home. I noticed details I might miss online, like how the dials feel, size, and warranty. Best Buy also price matched a competitor. I went back for tips on installation. I was glad Geek Squad was available in case I had trouble, but in the end, I didn't need help. I did install 2 wires backward, but the device was smart enough to tell me! I like to "kick the tires" before purchasing when the item is expensive or large or complex. And sometimes, I don't want to wait for shipping. I'm glad to have a Best Buy nearby.
This is a one star store in terms of customer service and helpfulness.
The geek squad always make an excuse to not help and the managers are less helpful than them.
This is my number one favorite store in general. This was the second time I went to this location ans didn't realize that you don't have any signal once you get into the parking lot. You would have to use the wifi from best buy if you want to use your phone. The employees were nice: instantly greeting me, helping me with what i wanted so I could leave the store quickly.
agoThe place itself is in a great spot and has a variety of items, but the staff are the worse. If you need help, be ready to be ignored. They will walk past you and act like they are in the mic with someone else, or they are helping someone else, which 99.9 % of the time they're not. Some of the staff will give you an attitude just because you ask for help.
So go here at your own risk. Hopefully, everyone else has a better experience than I had had in the last 3 years.
The worse location do NOT go HERE. Every time I come here the employees have serious attitudes and lack customer service. Today I came in and it was only two employees working on the register. One did not know his job so while the other employee was helping me he walked off to help the other one. Didn’t say a word to me. After about 20 minutes and him helping two other customers o left.
Me and my son went in there today to look for a band for my Fitbit. We probably were not in there more than 5 to 7 minutes from walking in to walking out.. We went in and a gentleman by the name of Jack approached us asking that was the fast if we needed help, quickly he looked for what I was searching for and we found it had to be shipped to the store. He walked us to the front and ordered it for me. This is probably the best and fastest service we’ve ever had in a Best Buy or any Electronic store, ever. Thank you, Jack!!
I ordered 2 items online, 1 of the item i purchased was ready so i picked it up and asked the cashier who rang me up about my other order, he said the item wasn't ready yet. I waited for half an hour and decided to just get it myself, since they might be busy to get it ready. I then proceeded to the same cashier with the item and told him the situation. He said i can just cancel the item, but i explained that the card that was used to purchase the item was my wife's credit card and I was just the pick-up person. He said it's the same thing she'll get her money back, but i told him that's not my intention. I asked him that since the item was already there, can he just scan it or do something so i can pick up the item already. He said he can't do anything about it because i ordered it online. I ended up cancelling the item because it was so frustrating. Customer's service was a massive disappointment.
